  1. Looking to get a drift car, would prefer to get one as a kit so I can build it myself. I see the TT01D being suggested in the sticky but see there is also a TT02D, is the TT02 the better option? I guess spares are easy to get, my current truck is some chinese brand and spares are a total pain to get and quite expensive. Are the hop up parts listed for the TT01 compatible with the TT02? Can I convert it for not drifting by just changing the tyres for something more grippy or is there more to it? Thanks!
  2. The guys on ebay did actually get some stock in, fixed at last!!
  3. They screw into the rod but the end that clips into the ball already on the car is too small How do I find him on here? On the website they have these - http://www.rcmodelz.co.uk/rc-cars/absima-1-10-electric-truggy-brushless-ab1-4wd-rtr.html which looks very similar to what I have. I guess that means these could fit http://www.modelsport.co.uk/absima-steering-link-4-buggy-truggy-/rc-car-products/388276 Will hold off ordering anything until I hear what he thinks though

  5. Went over to Howes Model's in Kidlington and they couldn't have been less helpful... One seller on ebay is saying they are getting some stock in next week however I doubt they really are. Guess it's time to look for a new car...
  6. Slightly too small Going to try and drill them out a bit and hope they fit then
  7. Just ordered some of these, hope they fit! Cheers
  8. The metal rod is 3mm across on the round bit not the hex bit I've already tried these ends but neither fitted: Hole measures 5mm across but can't get it to clip in http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351195246295?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Hole too large http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300999798235?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  9. The end that screws into the rod is also too big. I think I need a ball end with a 5mm diameter across the bit that goes onto the ball and a hole thats 3mm for the bit that screws in. How do you find out what sizes each part has?
  10. Anybody know of any ball end connectors that have a 5mm diameter? Really struggling to find one as spare parts for my car seem to be on complete back order.
  11. Looks like there is no stock at all for the standard replacement, got a reply back from where I bought it from and looks like it is a 5mm end I need. Good thing the two that I ordered to test were 4mm and 7mm... Have ordered some Losi 5mm ends which should be with me for Tuesday so hopefully they fit! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/361500870169 Thanks guys
  12. Looks like they only deliver to the USA but I'm in the UK. Had a look on ebay and there's not too many options but found these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RPM-73392-Black-Long-4-40-Heavy-Duty-Ball-Cup-Rod-Ends-12-/272036675541?hash=item3f56a63fd5:g:QdwAAOSw5VFWOkP2 but it looks like they replace stock rod ends for 4.3mm ball-studs, does the ball stud need to be the same size as the hole?
  13. These are the last guys I ordered from but they have no stock either
  14. I think the ball joint is 3mm, its listed in the spares section and says m3 which I think means m3? https://www.centuryuk.com/Spares/Car-Spares/Prime-Assault-V2/15941-/B-Head-Hex--Fine-Pitch-Screws-M3 For rod thickness do you mean the metal bit in the middle? It looks to be about 3mm
