Popular Post .AJ.
Also just had Amazon just deliver a new cordless drill for RC and home use 👍 My old cheapo Argos special has lost all its guts and the battery has had it as well, the Bosch is really nice and was a bargain at £85 with 2 batteries

Popular Post Fat Freddy
Some paint and some leads/plugs for my 1/35th scale Jeep build. See “1/35 scale Jeep kit (Orlandoo Hunter OH35A01)” in micro and mini section. Also, two tiny little 1S batteries which (using aforementioned leads/plugs) I intend to make into one “saddleback” 2S battery, with the cells kept separate and positioned one either side the motor to keep the C of G lower and further forwards. Popular Post totlxtc
My cars dirty older sister arrived today (on the right) 🤪 Found an Xray XB4 '17 which has 98% of the parts as my 18 has. Picked it up for just a little over £100, which Xray parts being what they are (not on the cheaper side), and things like shock bodies will set you back £38 for the pair!, now means I have spares for pretty much everything for when I smack into something/someone. Will keep me busy stripping it down, cleaning it up, throwing the metal parts into a sonic cleaner and the plastic into a bucket of warm water and soap. Then I can nerd out and catalogue it all and bin what's not so great. Rear diff looks like it has seen better days. Front diff seems good. Shocks...erm...yeah...they need stripping. Slipper looks good and most of it looks usable. Other good news. Did not see in the images but have a few nice upgrades on there that I can transfer over. Aluminium center bulkhead, Aluminium shaft protectors and not checked over the rest. Came with 2 new front arms too which are £18 for the pair. A set of 1/35th scale metal bodied, adjustable shocks. Adjustable preload that is, these things have no damping.

Lone-wolf
Postie brought me a new Atomrc Seal motor glider kit, tube of UHU PoR glue (foam safe) set of FTX Fury body posts and a battered shop soiled Jconcepts Ford F-250 shell, sadly the shell wont work for what i had in mind so that goes in the for sale section
Popular Post totlxtc
A bunch of shims, screws, shock oil, diff grease and bearing oil. Also the worlds smallest rear hubs arrived. Dont they look so cute! Also just arrived, found a rear ARB assembly that was missing off the "Spares Car" for £2.50 on ebay. Thought may as well make it complete. Edited February 2, 2023 by totlxtc
Popular Post Fat Freddy
A strip of tiny 0805 SMD LEDs. Never tried to solder anything this small before, but if successful, these are going to provide purple under body lighting AND, unless I suddenly become sane again, will light up the dashboard in the cab of my 1/35 scale Jeep crawler. (For those of you unfamiliar with these, the black stuff is just packaging, each of those white dots is a separate LED) Edited February 2, 2023 by Fat Freddy

Popular Post Kpowell911
Boring I know. But having spent 4 figures upgrading a previous X Maxx to run a bigger motor and not really seeing “value” (it ruined it) I decided to pick up a new stock motor for my X Maxx. Jennys got it here with a week and it cost me $150 instead of probably £700 for a Max 5/1100kv and the Vitavon bits….. I couldve maybe gone “big block” with the XRT, and it wouldve handled it more. However I genuinely think the “big block” X’s you see on Facebook are only done for likes. Im convinced slightly geared up stock motor with a better ESC is much better for actual use Edited February 4, 2023 by Kpowell911
