Posted March 17 Share Posted March 17 Apart from the “toy looking” wheels, this does sit quite nicely, the shell, (although could be easily damaged with its sharp corners) looks really good both colour and design. is that a Max6 esc?? If so again, another good touch if it is. how durable it will be is anyone’s guess thats even if we get it to the uk… It does look like a max 6 and it states a 4985 motor which is also a hobbywing, so this truck must be 6s but it does state 8s which is worrying as that isint an 8s motor or have i got my wires crossed somewhere? The Hobbywing Motor 4985 is a 1650kv hence only rated for 6S This is a 4985 but is a 1250kv so is a different motor, and lower kv should be fine on 8S. All the 4985 is the motor size (49mm Diameter, 85mm Length) so very similar to the stock X Maxx Motor. Lilredmachine Posted March 23 Share Posted March 23 Thunder RC now has one of these trucks and has had a couple of bash sessions with it. First was very light, second was geared up with a 23T pinion allowing it to catch huge, huge air.
