People thought Arrma was excessive with three truggies in the line up - Corally is now at four. Kronos, Dementor, Jambo and now Punisher. They can't all be that dissimilar, i get the "small stunt truck/Outcast, big truggy/Kraton, speed truggy/Talion" thing, but i have no idea where the Punisher is supposed to fill a gap.

The Jambo and Dementor are shorter wheel bases than the Kronos and Punisher. Punisher comes with a cap pack and skid rails on the roof which the Kronos doesn’t have. Basically all the same electronic components across all 4. So 2 short wheel base “stunt trucks” 2 longer wheel base “muggies”. Then there the Muraco and Shogun so 2 true truggy variants. Gives customers a choice of body shape in the truggy, muggy, stunt truck styles. I think it’s a great way to bring people in to the brand, I like muggies but didn’t like the Kronos body so would never buy in to it as if have to fork out on a new body straight away to be happy. But now there’s the Punisher, which has the skid rails and a shape/colour I prefer, I would buy this.

I actually think this is the best looking one with the least stupid name.

I suppose this is kinda like the "Notorious" was to the "Outcast", in that it's just like a "Jambo" (🤦‍♂️) with a different shell?

No chance I will buy one with the ET48 2.0 round the corner, but as long as they havent done anything absolutely ridiculous with the design, and availability is good, it should be reletively popular.

Dementor? Jambo? Punisher? Excuse my cynicism but are they all the same thing? Or I’m I missing something?

Lets be fair, Tamiya are the worst offenders of this, Even more so theses days.
