  1. Redcat did a black version of their Gen8 Scout II a while back that came with an Hobbywing Axe brushless system.
  2. I have various original Axial SCX10s, Two TRX4s, TRX6, SCX10ii 6x6, Gmade BOM, MST, 2 x Element RC, Wraith and Bomber and i am interested to see what these cheaper brands are like nowadays. Back in the day when the first FTX Outback came out, they look pretty basic. I did have a Mauler and it was OK but seemed lacking. This one looks quote complicated and ambitious and for £300 is good value. The SCX6 is just huge and something I have never seen before, so it is very interesting to me. If I had to get rid of all my crawlers except for one, then I would keep the Gmade BOM. Such a smooth driveline and incredibly quiet, plus the rear cantilever suspension is something different and works really well. Post a thread when your RGT arrives. I would be really interested to see what you think of it.
  3. No problem. I might have to think about this now. I am also thinking about the SCX6 so not sure which way to go.
  4. Yes, I understood that the roof is matt on all of the colours, but @Lone-wolf says there is a green one that is entirely matt.
  5. Maybe it isn't matt then. This looks pretty glossy to me.
  6. I saw the green one on banggood, but it wasn't a matt finish. Maybe it has gone out of stock.
  7. Looks like a nice truck. Some videos I've seen show that it needs bigger wheels to avoid getting high centred. Other than that it seems good. Can you post a link to the matt green please? I have seen that they do a blue, red and green, but none of them are matt.
  8. If you have the budget for the TRX4, then it's clearly the better choice. If you only have the budget for the Carisma, then keep saving and buy a TRX4. Really top quality rc with a huge support in the aftermarket. I'd also suggest a good brushless system such as the Hobbywing AXE or Fusion, as the TRX4 drivetrain is very robust and wheelspeed is good.
  9. Five years goes by quickly. Note the last time he visited the forum: https://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/profile/32744-johninderby/
  10. He exiled himself from this forum when a member was banned in early 2018. I'm guessing the mods have purged various accounts.

  12. Strange, the mesh is set based on the preset holes in the motor mount. Mine is pretty good, although it isn't the quietest crawler I have. My GMade running an older version of the transmission in yours, is very quiet indeed.
  13. I can't say I have ever had binding issues on any of my Traxxas models. I am not sure what your issue could be, unless the receiver has got wet and died. The Traxxas bind process is pretty easy:
  14. Good luck. These aren't without their issues:
  15. They do sell them: https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/352647/ - Normal plastic https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/316598/ - Hard Plastic (these appear to be the stock ones)
