The Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 represents a singular vision to create the boldest and toughest all-terrain vehicle ever. Traxxas captures the spirit and no-compromise approach of the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 with an officially licensed detailed scale replica built on the proven TRX-4® platform. Six drive wheels, three T-Lock™ remote-locking differentials, portal axles, high/low transmission, 6 aluminum long-travel shocks, and a stunningly accurate body with brilliant LED lighting make this the most advanced and capable RC crawler ever to hit the trail.

Superior 6x6 Design

A fully independent intermediate axle puts an extra set of driving wheels where you need them most to power over obstacles that would be otherwise be impossible. 6-wheel drive also allows greater traction to attack steeper inclines and more grip over loose and rocky surfaces.88096-4-TRX-4-Mercedes-6x6-DX1I8895.jpg

Exceptional Body Detail

The TRX-4 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 faithfully reproduces one of the most exclusive and recognizable all-terrain vehicles ever created. Chrome accents, molded trim, and finely detailed lighting elements highlight the rich metallic paint. Traxxas’ uncompromising attention to detail elevates this TRX-4 to the ultimate expression of beauty and brawn.88096-4-TRX4-MB-6x6-High-3qtr-Detail-Sil

Factory-Equipped LED Lighting

Rugged and fully-waterproof, the preinstalled LED lighting blazes a path through the darkest night. Accurate scale details abound in the finely crafted headlights, taillights, and side marker lights. Even the roof visor is fitted with brilliant LED lighting. A dedicated power supply regulates the voltage for bright, consistent, and efficient lighting.88096-4-TRX-4-Mercedes-6x6-DX1I9148.jpg

Rigid Steel Frame

Designed exclusively for the TRX-4 Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6, thick 1.5 mm steel frame rails are formed from one solid piece for maximum strength. Extra bracing and crossmembers provide exceptional torsional rigidity to resist chassis twist under load. Full inner fenders and accurately reproduced skidplates enhance the scale realism.6x6-rigid-steel-frame.jpg

Ultimate Ground Clearance

Traxxas exclusive portal axles lift the truck at the wheels for huge ground clearance under the axles. In order to achieve the same clearance with straight axles (and not get stuck), your tires would have to be over an inch taller than the TRX-4's tires. Straddling boulders with ease, the TRX-4 chassis definitely takes the path less travelled and simply leaves all the others. 88096-4-portal-axle-clearance.jpg

High/Low Range Transmission

When the going gets tough, shift into low range and all six wheels dig in for incredible torque. Shift into high range and the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 transforms the desert floor into an off-road racetrack with massive roosts and 6-wheel power slides.TRX-4-Transmission-Assembly.jpg

Remote Locking Differentials

Traxxas scores another RC first with three transmitter-operated locking differentials. Leave the differentials unlocked to take advantage of the TRX-4’s tight turning radius, even with 6-wheel drive and the long wheelbase. Lock the front differential or lock both rear axles in tandem for extreme 6-wheel all-wheel-drive drive traction. Sleeved micro cables control the differential action for scale appearance.TRX-4-t-lock-differentials.jpg

GTS Aluminum Shocks

Six oil-filled coil-over GTS shocks deliver silky-smooth damping with threaded aluminum shock bodies for easy ride height adjustments. Specially calibrated rear springs allow full articulation of both rear axles independently for optimal traction on uneven surfaces.

2.2" Wheels

Unique 2.2” beadlock-style wheels with contrasting red trim and detailed center caps ride on specially designed all-terrain tires. The soft S1-compound tires come pre-glued and mounted for rugged climbing action. A standard 12mm steel hex is used for compatibility with the full line of TRX-4 wheels and tires.

Remember the US prices will not include sales tax and our price will as well as import duties plus mark up.

Yeah more the case of mark up let’s face it we get screwed over good and proper here on rc products compared to pretty much everywhere else.

Like I say though this one won’t matter to me as I have my eye on something else coming later in the year 🤫

Super low pound doesn't help....but we're getting our blue passports etc etc etc so there's small mecy's.

This bothers me:

Remote Locking Differentials

Traxxas scores another RC first with three transmitter-operated locking differentials.

What about ARRMA's Nero diff brains?  Admittedly they seemed to give owners nothing but niggles but.

Sweet Jesus!!!

i had funds in place for a udr, decided to buy the wife a new air tent and got my daughters Trx4 for Christmas.

this I would absolutely love but at that price, I’d settle for the axial, that’s purely on price point and how “likely” I could fund one of them.

if it performs like its 4x4 variant, Traxxas will be coining it in again! If I start saving now, I could have it a week before it’s been discontinued lmao.

not be long before we see some 8x8’s coming through, if we do I’ll have to sell a kidney!

love it though

It looks cool but agreed on price just mental. Does trump's trade deal offer any hope? Mayb not from traxxas if they really did ban UK exports. But could they legally if we have a trade deal? I hope the trade deal goes through and opens up the rc bargains to us atleast.

Why would they ban UK exports to the US? Who is banning what? It's a grey area, the the US and UK would agree that X it Y WTO code is only going to pay X % duties rather than the default amouy, but that's if the product is from the US. If it's shipped to Rotterdam or Antwerp, then distributed out of a central European hub which is often the case, or shipped straight from China where it's made, you'll still pay duties if there's no reciprocal agreement with the EU or China.  The only way the UK can change the default on codes is by raising a schedule, which it can't and won't be allowed to any more because we just have that up because blue passports or some crap. We took a gun, aimed it at our own feet, missed and blew our legs off.

Looks lovely but being a traxxas will require much more dough plowed in to make it reliable.

Having had two traxxas models in the past they needed far more nurturing than anything else (well maybe not the Carnage I had!). I spent less time fixing an Ansmann Mad Monkey than my MERV !

Generally i'd agree, but at £720, no way.

If i could order one on RCMart, i actually would do so right now, for nobody could argue with a sub £500 pricetag. At £720, nah.

Hm, could someone briefly point something out to me: RCMart isn't sending Traxxas stuff to the UK amongst other countries, now i thought that goes for the entire EU. I'm not sure if it's a mistake on their part, but if i look at the list of restricted countries, germany is absent. Did they forget to add it, or is it indeed possible to get Traxxas shipments to germany?

I got a few mates in germany, some of which owe me a favour. :D

I assume one axle locks, then two then all three rather than individually?

Either way be interesting to see, must be a bit complicated :)

From the description it seems to be similar to the 4x4 ie either all diffs open, front only locked or all locked - both rears locking simultaneously. Be interesting to see if it's a mini servo for each rear or if they've somehow linked them together.

Try it and see but I think it’s all of the eu but if it’s not listed you could possibly argue the point 🤣👍
