53HRA
Fingers crossed it has an independent front axle like the CC01 does on the rear, pretty much the biggest upgrade it needs! Oh and improved steering
TWINSET
Tamiya don't change too much when they 'upgrade' a chassis reference - TT-01 v TT-02, M-03 v M-05 v M-07 etc. - If I was a gambler, I'd put money on the CC-01's front suspension setup being carried-over, steering improved and removal/streamlining of the front brick. The rear arm moulding could also do with a bit of a tweak to make it a little more terrain-friendly on the front edge
Stoat_Muldoon
Hopefully this will be Tamiya finally having a solid crack at the recently more popular scaler market. As a big fan of the ugly plastic bucket that is the CC01 I'm very curious to see what they've come up with.
Gaz!
I really loved all my cc01’s I’ve had over the years but by the time you had addressed the issues, your choices of a better rig to start with are in that same price point. that said, some cracking shells have been released for that chassis over time.... Lone-wolf
only good thing that ever came from the CC01 was the square unimog shell
RCbutcher
26yrs selling the same rc. Yepp it's a tamiya lol. Adult owners of the cc01 are younger than their rc. I wonder what's their oldest longest running model without re releases. I bet nearly 40-50yrs on the re releases lol. TWINSET
If this is a kit photo, could well have a live front axle 😎

Ninetiesbeard
If they price this right, itll sell really well id have thought. If they go 300+ then no way Jose.

mond
Philips head screws in 2019.🤔 Have to say though, much as I love a Tamiya, unless this is under 150, it has nothing on the MST CFX or CMX, which can mount all the CC01 bodies.
bigoggy
11 minutes ago, mond said: Philips head screws in 2019. Tamiya do not use, nor have ever used Philips, or posidrive. This is why people chew Tamiya screws up, use a JIS driver, and no issue with the screws at all.
