  3. TRX4 Land Rover for sale. The transmitter is a hacked Flysky, giving 8 channels. The light cycle through side light, side and headlights, and a 3rd touch adds the light bar. Indicators work from the transmitter, not with the steering as cheaper cars do. Working 2 speed gearbox, and front and rear locking diffs. Full custom wiring, comes with custom instructions, and wiring diagrams. Has metal skids behind bumper, and under each axle, and gearbox. Car itself runs on a 2s LIPO, included, and the servo runs off it's own 4s LIPO, 3 included. Servo is a Holmes Hobbies, BLS SHV500v2 BRUSHLESS 12 volt servo, with a second boxed one included. Servo battery has it's own custom mount, and LIPO buzzer. There are brass portal covers on the front. Custom rear bumper. Hustler MT X tyres. Comes with parts needed to convert to clear windows, and chrome grill. Also comes with original box, and instructions. This is ready to trail, you just need a charger. 4. Sorry, want it all gone together.
  5. Only had half a battery through it. Almost R.T.R., just needs a Flysky transmitter. Fitted with flysky receiver, 1060 ESC, metal geared servo, and a battery. This car is like new. £250, collection from Worksop
  6. Traxxas Stampede. This is the 4x4 kit version, not the cheaper 2wd one. Great condition, very little use. Comes R.T.R. including a LIPO battery, you just need a charger. £185, collection from Worksop.

  8. Fugly as sin, it's a hard no from me.
  9. This is a great alternative to the 5th shock mod. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174542921143?var=&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  10. Great rig, and just the type of thing I would buy. Just need a lottery win now. Not cheap.
  11. The Escort must be far smaller than I remember. This is an excellent chassis, but not very big at all.
  12. I guess Tamiya have seen how many bodies L and L are selling, and jumped on the band wagon. I would have been interested, except pre painted, wrong chassis, and almost 1/12 rather than 1/10 all put me off.
  13. In over 30 year in RC, it is the worse, and most awkward body I have ever done. Take your time and it comes out ok, rough cut the parts so you are dealing with 1 at a time, and then cut properly. I did a custom paint, so no idea on the stickers, but there are about 100 by the looks of the sticker sheet.
  14. Even stranger when you consider that the unpainted version of that shell comes on the M06. Why the change to M05?
  15. I have always wanted a drag car, but after 3 or 4 runs I can see it getting boring on my own, if this type of racing takes off in the UK I could finally do it.
  16. Looks like a Kyosho H.O.R. scaled up.
  17. If his van has broken down, and he is loading them to someone else, he will not make a penny that day, and the company may even fine him. He will not give a toss about the parcels.
  18. As I said in my post, 25% of the parcels sent to me, via Hermes, never Arrived. Each one tracked to the local delivery office, and then went missing, so there is either a thief, or the place is badly run, according to the guy that delivers for them, it is the latter, he says the place is crazy, and just parcels in every nook. And this is over the last year, not just during lockdown. If you tell me you are posting via Hermes, despite you never having issues, I know our office does, and it's not fair on you, or I, to have a 25% chance of the parcel going missing.
  19. I currently have a rare, large, nitro monster truck on ebay. With the size, weight, and insurance, Royal Mail want almost £30, so it's collection only, I could have sold it 4 times if I were willing to post it. 2 people have actually sent me links saying to use Hermes, or another company, and it will only cost me £12, I just refuse, I would rather lose the sale, than have to deal with issues arising from it getting damaged, or going missing.
  20. They are cheap for a reason. 3 parcels out of 11 they should have delivered to me in the last 12 months have gone missing, I now ask what courier a seller is using, if it's Hermes, I don't buy from them.
  21. What a great read. Good to see that you have not let it stop you doing what you love. And it's great that you have the skills to build something that makes it easier for you. I've know 2 drivers with one hand across my 36 years in RC, one used an aircraft radio for racing, and the other is a crawler guy, and just uses a clamp on the wheel to allow easier thumb use. While it allows them to carry on doing the hobby, they always looked like compromises, your idea looks like a real fix.
  22. As others state, it has lots of features I don't need on a scale truck. BUT lots will, and it looks a good bit of kit. My only worry is I hear Absima, I think budget brand, now things may have changed in the 8 years since I last had an Absima, so please correct me if I'm wrong. Yes it's still a lot cheaper than the bigger brands with the same spec, but still very strong money for a budget brand.
