Not a big thing but every little helps, removed the tacky "Walmart toy grade" window decals from the Ford F-150, i think it looks better, and fitted the chrome wipers, still working on the mirrors mounts second pic is with the silly stickers

ford, no window stickers.JPG

Finished  the rebuild of my traxxas rustler 4x4 put way to much money in it , the car was a peace of  junk when I bought it  second hand.

Gave the car a proper bash today on the beach, and  ran  2  3s packs through it  with no problems, I really like the car so in the end it was not all bad  that I spend to much money on it.

Well I guess that’s the point in the end, if you like it that’s what matters regardless of cost, I think most on here are guilty of spending on their cars/trucks, but that’s what makes it fun.

Core RC petrol blue  is a nice shade, back it with french blue for the lighter look or black for the darker look, i will be doing my next 2016 F-150 shell for the Fs racing in the petrol blue

Well I've asked his mother and apparently he likes red these days and the other nephew likes blue and red, so I think I am going to do it truck itself red (the same red as my Power Wagon) and one door of it blue (the same blue as my original Jeep) as something of a homage to those trucks which really kickstarted my love for the crawling hobby.

I did something similar with a Bronco body I weathered.

I bought the wrong length drive shafts for the doorok 🙄. They're not internally hexed the full length for some reason. So I cut out the middle bit , made a collar , glued it all together & now I have the correct length drive shafts ☺️

Okay been out with the ford  F-150 trail rig for a muddy run in the woods, and got first video running it, was gonna go back out but rain stopped play, so gave the FS racing a bit of a service, refilled oil in shocks and gave it a clean an lube up, the wheel bearings are looking a bit rusty so need to order some bearings and maybe at xmas give it a more thorough going over, might also trim and spray the other shell for it, oh and replaced a broken magnet mount
