i sprayed WD40 2 days ago into my rc crawler motor as it had crust of dirt and dried up mud, i left the car dribbling for 2 days and today finally the car started to move as it had life now. When i pull the trigger i can sometimes see sparks and flames in the brushed 35t motor and bit of smoke which got me worried, would this be caused from the wd 40 which had been sprayed?

WD40 really has no business being in a brushed motor, for future reference. It doesn't clean up mud etc any more than pressured water. What it does do is leave behind oily residue that dirt loves to stick to.
If you wanna spray something into your can, use something like electrical contact cleaner.
If i were you i'd get a can (Halfords, around £4 if i recall correctly), flush the motor out with it (you need to get rid of the "oil"), and cross your fingers.
Just note that you need to lubricate bearings afterwards, if applicable.

Lot of folk raving about these batteries at the moment:
Word on the street is that these are the same as Graphene Panthers just under a different brand and a lot cheaper.

can I use diff grease on my RC boat prop shaft or will I have to go with a marine grease?
-
i would imagine u would need a more waterproof marine grease Laz
"Technically marine grease has additives that make it hydrophobic (repels water). Standard grease is somewhat hydrophobic but not nearly as good as marine grease and standard grease will mix much more readily with water. ... Marine grease is much more resistant to this mixing."
