Y'know they really aren't necessary on the front, I tried a range of tyres on the front and in the end just kept with what I was using in the first place because they don't make any odds lol.

Agreed, I use Dirt-busters of all the tyres available! They're absolutely fine! Zero understeer, cheap as chips!

Did treat the Baja to 4 Led pods up front today, wired into the Killer Bee. They flash whilst the kill is on and light up the neighbourhood when the car is running...

Put the lipos on storage as it doesn't look like I'll be receiving my new pinion any time soon

Ordered a new pullstarter with metal pawl and Turtle Racing rear shock brace for the baja. Went to fire it up earlier and the pull start failed on the first pull lol (this was after ordering one as a spare)

Learnt there's a lot of screws involved in HPI TVPs! Not difficult to do, but time consuming.

Took it down to the beach for a blast about, hot some footage so it'll be ready in a couple of hours..

started its new engine up for the first time

Fixed a shock eyelet on the savvy after sunday's epic bashin session  

 

Bodged up the broken dx3s aerial with black heat shrink cos i'm too chicken to take it apart and fit the new one I got for it... looks ok  

 

batteries on charge ready for mmrx tomoz... oh yeah

New motor, esc and changed diff oil, running sweet

Fitted the new bodyposts ready for the new shell, also adjusted the rear suspension a bit, it's better now.

Sprayed the first few coats of paint onto the new shell.

Crazy day. Fixed a mates 5b steering, throttle and pullstart, took the bajas out for a blast and then stripped my beast down for a clean.
