I ordered a few Lipo's off their Ebay shop a month or 2 ago and had them in 2 days so obviously came from the UK. Remember seeing Staines on the sender address as I thought of Ali G at the time. Edit: Link http://stores.ebay.co.uk/HobbyKing-International-Store/LiPo-LiFe-NiMH-Battery-/_i.html?_fsub=4351371015&_sid=1010616875&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322
  3. Filled and fitted 4 Alu Big Bore Shocks, 4 Orange wheelnuts and fitted Hot Bodies Mudguards to the Apache SC. Mudguards took longer than the shocks to do
  4. Yesterday he brought me some new shocks and springs for the Apache SC
  5. Cant go wrong with a Maverick Strada for
  6. I have the same one and its fine. Does what it says on the tin etc. I bought a power lead for it off Ebay and it didn't work straight out of the box, Good ol Ebay! So went out to Maplin and got an 12v 10A power pack for it for
  7. Thats fair enough. What are the problems people are having with them to make them think it's not worth the price tag?
  8. I assume that US forum is this one? http://www.rcshortcourse.com/forum/hpi-apache-sc/ Its pretty good alright but a bit slow moving and quiet (The Apache section) I guess its just not a very popular truck. Still waiting on the SC8 Roll cage to come from the states (Ebay) for mine. Anyone upgrade to the Big Bore Shocks? Thinking about it after I popped the standard one the other day. Didn't break though, Just hopped off the plastic threads but screwed back on no problem. Also. What WT oil do people recommend for this truck? PS. Think Im gonna have to get these too as they are damn smexy
  9. It does work mate. Click the little "image" icon and you can paste in the link to the pic.
  10. Got them filthy and broke them. I did good....right? Isn't that what I'm supposed to be doing with them?
  11. Hmm, I guess these babies aren't very popular in the UK or something? Surprised to see them not for sale on MS website anymore. A few days after I bought mine Edit: Or the C1 for that matter
  12. Finally got round to installing a few Blue Aluminium upgrades I got off Ebay last month. When I put the brushless motor in I bent/broke pretty much everything I could on the car so we'll see if this stuff can take a bit more beating (not holding my breath) Still a few more upgrades to do on it but the Apache SC is keeping me distracted these days!
  13. Ta mate but not looking anymore, Bought an Apache SC the other day
  14. Hmm, I might do the same actually. I got an Apache SC yesterday and noticed the same things with the stickers. Also on another forum there is a lot of the same complaint, Thats why I'm surprised they just sent out another shell so quickly like that, Its worth a shot thats for sure! Apart from that (tbh the stickers dont really bother me anyway) I'm loving this machine! I'm very new to RC and this is my first proper model that I've spent a few
  15. Oh nice one. Looks like my pack of assorted washers has arrived. The packaging these companies use these days though, What a waste! Hang on! My mistake!!
  16. Hi guys. Wondering if any of you fine gentlemen have ever ordered off Skystone Shop before? Their prices are way too good to be true and they don't accept Paypal which sent massive alarm bells ringing in my head. Was wondering if anyone else ever had any dealings with these doods in the past? Site address is: http://www.skystoneshop.com/5-cars-trucks-rc
  17. Would prefer HPI Blitz or HPI Apache SC but will consider others. I don't mind if Brushed or Brushless as I don't mind upgrading it myself. Not for racing, Just bashing.
  18. Installed a new Brushless motor, ESC and Spectrum radio gear to a Strada XB Exo T'was a good day
  19. Was hoping my new DX3E would arrive too but got an email from them this morning saying they heard a rattle coming from the box as they were packing it so need to wait on new stock to arrive. Damn nice of them to do that though I guess. A lot of places would have said sod it and send it anyway. Company is http://www.goldstarstockists.net/live/catalog/index.php btw. (Free plug for them)
  20. If your car has AC there's prob a vent in the glovebox. Keeps a can icey cold, and if its its on my ball of shyte car I'm sure its on a lot more
