Popular Post Mr Fro Posted December 4, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted December 4, 2022 Finished up the Maverick Blackout MT and then suddenly realised after all this fixing stuff I've been doing that there's a green round the back so I took it for a spin: That was a ridiculous amount of fun! I was surprised just how stable it was - I was expecting it to be a bit top heavy but I didn't even manage to get it up on two wheels. That's about the end of the petrol models for now. There's probably enough parts left to cobble one or two more together but I wouldn’t mind a change so it's on to the Tamiya. This is the only one that's vaguely built up: last seen in action in 1999: I've got a manual and boxes of bits (surprise). I didn’t like the angle he was holding his whiskey bottle. So hacked a chunk out of his arm. Then nearly sawed his thumb off so I could make him hold the bottle without double sided tape. Changed the colour of his hat and gave him a medallion. Also hung an air freshener from the rear view mirror. If I list my RCs, I often forget about I own the Summit, and every time I take it out, it shocks me how capable it is. It just has an LEM Gear and a new Servo, and its ridiculously good.
