  1. this is a specific low cg build designed for hardcore crawling, the trx is more of a trail truck, built to withstand what kids would do to it, a pro low cg setup like this in the hands of kids will be destroyed pretty quick. anyway looks like a decent bit of kit that competes with the likes of the custom lowcg element chassis, trx4 isnt the market for this cars competition, element and vanquish are imo.

  2. Had a go at sticking a JST on a LED light bar with a kit I picked up recently. A bit small and fiddly but seemed to work. Reminded me I should probably get my eyes tested!

  4. I've been doing a few hard bodies lately, never put them on any crawlers as the weight put me off. But I think they do look really cool. I picked up this Injora cherokee pick up body (jeep pick up truck is a comanche). Fits really good. Most of the trucks I have need lower rear shock towers or a cantilever shock setup to allow the rear bed to sit at the right height. Straight on at the correct height on the scx10 pro chassis. I tried to get the nardo grey Audi colour. The nearest I could get was ts32 haze grey. So in the picture the body is sat on the stock rear body mounts and the front bumper. Magnetic mounts would probably work. It would be good if I could swap the bodies reasonably easy, both bodies on magnetic mounts and the front bumper to change. The pictures aren't great and the body isn't finished, I was just curious to see if it would fit. I do think it looks pretty good.

  5. Starting a thread for the above models both the same truck, Very high spec including Dig, 2WD/4WD, clipless body mount, and magnetic light cable connector, has 550 35 turn motor Hobbywing 1060 esc 25kg steering servo plus 25kg winch fitted. 2 speed transmission, beadlock wheels, available in Red or Blue with Matt Black roof and the RGT is also available in a very nice Green with Matt black roof, i have this one on order and with luck may be here in 5-10 days, i would of ordered from UK but really like the Green. Will post up more once the truck has arrived, if you already have one please post up on here, some stock images below just to get things started

  6. Hello All, After a long long long time away from RC and having sold all my rigs some 9 years ago I all of a sudden had an itch to get myself something. It kind of started by watching a ton of YouTube vids of xmaxx's and was really into the idea of getting one and I don't know how but I ended up with a trx4 2021 bronco. I really got into the vids of crawling and the realism of the whole thing. So found a good condition trx4 with some upgrades including the pro scale light kit (with an issue), rock lights, hobbywing 1800kv fusion pro (it's amazing!) beadlock wheels and super grippy tyres, svaox 1210sg servo (annoyingly buzzy). Have a few mods/upgrades scale items I want to get to make it my own. For now here are some pics. P.s. If any of you seasoned pros can help with an issue. So I've added some pics below of the halo light, when I've plugged in the battery the halos come on, however the right side doesn't work fully. But when I turn on the power and the low beams come on it appears the halos work fully. But in only day running lights it only half works on the right. Any clues as to what the issue might be?

  11. 40amp should be plenty for a crawler, i would be surprised if that motor pulled more than 20 amps

  13. Those tips overs from what i know and already had that in the begining are user error if selflevel is on! You need to know what heli is doing and correct it...just that. Not just jam the stick and hope for the best...helis are wild animals...and selflevel is a blessing for guys like me that can't do 3D and like bank limits to! Anyway...one more:

  19. From what i have seen this will run rings round a TRX4 but then there is the long term reliability, even this Traxxas hater would be first to admit the TRX4 seems to be ultra reliable, i imagine there will be a YT video soon with this rig up against a TRX

  26. seen a few YT video`s and this looks a winner on spec and performance but same old thing, we dont have a Redcat dealer here in UK and shipping plus import from Redcat makes this less tempting

Also, there was a guy on YouTube IIRC that did a bit of a series on this Yokomo? Again, might be worth a look

  37. I think speed runners are better if you live in the US. Wider roads and a hell of a lot more empty places.

  38. Took the power wagon out for some trail driving today. It did really good. Compared to my Trx4m bronco with crawler gears it has a good bit more top end speed. I used the 62mm injora hyrax copies, very good tyre for crawling and trail driving. They do rub quite a bit so trimming of the lip from the arches possibly more for running these tyres. I'm going to try some slightly smaller tyres ( injora 58mm tall not sure of the name). Here's a little video...

  39. Something I have wanted to do for years with an RC! Was a lot of fun but sadly underestimated how much extra juice the paddles and the sheer open space would end up draining the batteries super quick! Will do this again in the future with more batteries.

  40. I have various original Axial SCX10s, Two TRX4s, TRX6, SCX10ii 6x6, Gmade BOM, MST, 2 x Element RC, Wraith and Bomber and i am interested to see what these cheaper brands are like nowadays. Back in the day when the first FTX Outback came out, they look pretty basic. I did have a Mauler and it was OK but seemed lacking. This one looks quote complicated and ambitious and for Β£300 is good value. The SCX6 is just huge and something I have never seen before, so it is very interesting to me. If I had to get rid of all my crawlers except for one, then I would keep the Gmade BOM. Such a smooth driveline and incredibly quiet, plus the rear cantilever suspension is something different and works really well. Post a thread when your RGT arrives. I would be really interested to see what you think of it.
