  2. I’ll get the thread going again! The pistol carbines in the middle is a new arrival, ive had it a few weeks now and loving it! it’s a Reximex Mito S in .177, fitted with a T-Eagle SR 2x28 fixed mag scope and a Blade Fatboy moddy 👍

  3. As I said before. Horizon are just as bad if not worse than Traxxas, yet get off scott free on social media. Theyve completely destroyed Arrma. Theyve took over an exciting, reasonably priced and innovative brand, infected it with overpriced Spektrum electronics, disregarded existing models and hiked the price up an obscene amount. Classic Horizon.

  6. Finished off the painting of a new shell for the customised brushless Hong nor X1 CR Pro. Shell is from a JConcepts, and as you can see from clear shot cut lines we're no use. Fits lovely now, and is deep enough to swallow lipo's without any mods to body posts. Tamiya florescent orange (pics don't show it well) with oldie but a goodie black flicks. Will fit a Hyper 7 too...

  7. If you hold the pinion still, you should be able to rock the spur a tiny bit in both directions, making a tapping sound as it makes contact with the pinion each way. If there is no ‘tap’ it’s likely you have it meshed incorrectly/too tight. but yeah, they’re much noisier with metal spurs generally.

  8. Guys I feel a bit responsible for "Killing" this thread. I started out as a youngster with a Diana sp50, then had a Gammo pistol that I loved for years (177) Then I had a Weihrauch rifle I used for kinda long range target practice. After that I had no more connections to guns I'm amazed looking back in this thread to the airguns available now. I'm not some crazy anti gun leftist/animal rights guy !

  9. I know Arrma are held in much higher regard than makes such as Maverick, but the new Maverick quantum flux r is also 1/8 on road but 4S capable, and priced considerably less, maybe some competition. I am liking these on road bashers , giving people more choice than something more dedicated.

  14. My TRX 4 was pretty much sent straight out however that was pretty large order, some smaller orders have occasionally been on slow side but for the most part its been pretty quick. Unfortunately I think the slowest part of any order no matter where its from is if it is coming via Royal Fail.

  16. Bit of a thread resurrection, here. A couple of months back, I built myself a brand new, absolute monster of a gaming PC. Though I'd share, for those interested. Name: THE FORGE Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x (my first AMD since the good ol' Athlon 64 days!) Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X-570F RAM: 32GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 3600 Graphics: Asus TUF RTX3080 Ti OC PSU: Corsair RM850 Storage: 500GB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 NVME, PCI-E 4.0 & 2TB Adata XPG Gammix S70 M.2 NVME, PCI-E 4.0 Case: Phanteks Eclipse P500A DRGB (also several extra Phanteks DRGB PWM fans). Got the RGB set up to look like the whole machine contains fire, like an actual forge. So the fans are flickering, randomly, between various oranges and yellows. The camera does not show it (of course), but the effect is actually really good. My girlfriend genuinely thought something had caught fire, when she walked past the man cave! I like themed desktops, so the background is an animated one (wallpaper engine) and it's just a dark screen with flames and embers licking up, from the bottom. Also have various "forge-related" names and images, for most of the major icons. Running it on a 32" BenQ 4K monitor, but it's only 60hz. I think this PC justifies a 120Hz G-sync monitor, so I might upgrade to that. 20211029_114805_001.mp4

  18. The prices & junk electrics means Arrma's are for the fanboys only, really. Seems to be plenty of them around though....😐

  20. New 1:1 car ordered weeee, after saving up and being responsible with money for half a year, finally pulled the trigger. Downside: 11-12 months until delivery. As near as it makes no difference 250hp, and on our extended test drive (70 miles) we managed 135mpg average, which is what tipped the scale to the GTE rather than the GTI. The waiting now is going to suck though. 😞

  24. @GMballistic Both you and I have Arrma's but I think I'm done with them going forward, I will be widening my brands soon 😎 Recently Arrma is turning into the suckers brand, I blame HH to be honest. Nothing is in stock it's all over priced and don't even start me on the Spektrum junk they fit in everything lately ..!!

  25. First of all, they do look very cool, I like the look of these a lot. HOWEVER! Last I checked, Arrma (not the only company with this issue) are having massive supply issues for their current range, with lots of out of stocks etc. If I was an owner of say a current 3S Model, and waiting for parts Id be pretty miffed that Arrma are concentrating on getting a new RC out, before dealing with current issues. It surely wouldnt give me the confidence to purchase a newer model. This is a subject @Tomley RC touched on in his interview with this forum.
