  1. I still have my Tamiya Burns & Reid Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 although it now sports a new digital speed controller, new servo's and a wheel type controller instead of the joysticks it came with. Other upgrades include a full ball bearing kit and new oil filled shocks, alloy wheels with new tyres and fake brake discs. Unfortunately it doesn't get used much and is more of a shelf queen now.
  2. I used to have a Lee Turret Press, once set up correctly for the ammunition I was making at the time I found it quite therapeutic.
  3. One of my other pistols is a Gletcher Colt 1911 a1 Co2 bb pistol with blow-back and fully field strippable:
  4. I was at the range/RFD last Sunday and they had this in the secondhand display cabinet: It is the Baikal Makarov mp654, it is an early gen 2 version non blow-back, you need a team of elephants to work the top slide.
  5. I think the Hyacinth red is a fantastic colour, it was one of the deciding factors when I bought my C220, there are loads of black, white and various shades of metallic silver Mercedes out there but not many red’s.
  6. I recently bought a set of 1” alloy beadlock wheels and tyres for my new Eazy RC Glacier and found that the front inner tyre walls were rubbing on the front steering hubs, so I bought a set of 7mm hex drive spacers to give a little clearance but the deep reaching wheel/hub nut is a smaller thread than the original driveshaft thread 😏
  7. My C220 Sport Premium Plus, the nicest car I’ve ever had.
  8. I ordered the Eazy-RC Glacier 1:18 scale crawler from Modelsport on Monday and took delivery today. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement, I love everything about it from it's size, it's 4WD/suspension setup, working lights and full interior. All this for such a fantastic price point.
  9. Hi Captain Howdy, I didn't realise that you were north 'O' the border. Yes it is my understanding that for an airgun in Scotland there are a lot of hoops to jump through, although I would hazard a guess that it doesn't stop the odd knob from shooting indiscriminately. I live at the other end of the country in Devon where no such licensing exists (as yet!). But in answer to your question as to whether it is worth it in the long run I would most definitely say it is. As I understand it, the granting of a certificate to allow you to own an airgun requires the installation of security measures for storage of an airgun which would need to be inspected by the local firearms officer. So far as the medical condition is concerned it may be far enough in your past that in the GP's opinion you are no in the clear.
  10. I have a Colt 1911 A1 replica, it is Co2 powered and fires BB's. It has a blow-back action and is field strippable and made by a company called Gletcher although there are loads of other versions at varying budgets. Some are made under licence like the Glock's and Sig Sauer's. Umarex make some very good semi-auto versions as well as revolver type guns. This is my Colt 1911 A1 and my Colt 1873 Saa, Both are .177 calibre but the 1873 Saa shoots pellets from replica cartridges that you load into the cylinder.
  11. You are correct, it is indeed a PP700, to be more specific it is the PP700Sa: https://www.pellpax.co.uk/airguns/air-pistols/precharged-pneumatic-air-pistols/smk-pp700sa-22/19919 I have the PP700W variant, instead of having a square section sleeve over the barrel the PP700W has a round sleeve: The term PCP stands for Pre-charged Pneumatic, a system where by a pistol/rifle has an attached cylinder/bottle that holds air at an extremely high pressure, usually around 220bar(3,190psi) - 300bar(4,350psi). The gun has a valve system in it that takes a small amount of this pressure to propel a projectile down the barrel of the gun. Different calibres use different amounts of this air to do this. Well stocked while waiting for the Zombie apocalypse πŸ˜‰
  12. Very nice collection you've got going on there. πŸ˜‰

    Diff Grease

Is it ok to pack the diff's on my Sawback with grease or should I only grease the cogs? I could reseal the diff covers with some silicone sealant or is this a bad Idea?

I ordered a new screen on Monday afternoon and it arrived at 1:20pm today and was fitted by me at 1:30pm, reboot the laptop with the new screen and "Hey Presto!" it fired up and produced crystal clear graphics, I am a happy boy once again. It even came with a little tool kit, Phillips size 0 driver, needle point tweezers, pry tool and Exacto type craft knife. On the suppliers web page they have thousands of YouTube how to video clips and the stock thousands of screens for different manufacturers, they also supply iPhone and iPad screens too. Although they are an international company they have a warehouse facility somewhere around Gatwick, the tracking for mine show it going to Rochester then Bristol and finally to "Amazon's" depot at Exeter (because I am south of Exeter) and delivered by Amazon. I have no affiliation with laptopscreens.com other than being a happy customer. Here is link: LAPTOP SCREEN from $34.99, replacement LCD screens. Repair Tablet, Acer, Apple, iPhone, iPad, Samsung, Dell, HP Compaq, Toshiba, IBM Lenovo, Sony, Asus, Gateway. Here is a link to their web page
