  1. My nitro renaissance continues with one I REALLY wanted back in the day but it just never happened. Today the HPI Savage arrived in X 4.6 flavour! Threw in a cheeky offer on eBay which got accepted - £220 posted for this beauty completely RTR including a set of spare wheels & tyres, spare set of shocks, a brand new unpainted shell and a shed load of parts. Bargain! Looks like she's barely been used!

  2. Raced it (in a fashion) First race night at Surrey & Hants Radio Controlled Car Club, really enjoyed it, first round a few technicals put me out second I managed 5th out of 9, third the track was getting damp and I had zero traction so was 8th and similar story in the final. Great fun though, a lot to learn too, but a great friendly club.

  8. i love the corally kronos and my hyper vse 🙂 heres some vids of all in action and 2 vse's going at it on very rough terrain 🙂 this is what happens when you break the kronos spoiler mount that i use to wheelie on 😛 a good shout out to the corally shogun https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/corally-shogun-xp-6s-monster-truck-1-8-lwb-brushless-rtr-1334775 very similar to the kronos but handles and grips the ground a lot more sensibly and basically the same chassis as the kronos, i really like dads one. plus gives you left over money for batts charger and tools plus the essential thread lock 🙂 edit: the hyper vse has jacked up in price recently, the 4s ones dad and i have were 325 quid.....

  9. It's a strange one isn't it, ...4WD touring car kit as you say on the box but then it has a wheelie bar and is obviously being aimed at drag racers going from the name. Bodyshell design is also more GT/pan car design. Overall I like it. The chassis is very similar to a Schumacher Mi6 I used to own which was a great layout. Motor mount options seem a great idea too.

  12. Don't know if I have missed the cut off for questions But after discovering your channel I just naturally assumed your name was Tom, and only just found out other, so my question is a simple one where did the Tomley RC name come from, i have an idea, but want to see if im right!

  13. yeah...the whole fake shading on the windows combined with the stick on steering wheel does look pretty lame. Wonder if they will sell it as a kit with a clear shell. Could look pretty good with clear glass and an interior with some detail. Apart from that....it looks pretty good

  14. I still don;t understand why, for the money it would cost...Tamiya don;t just put bearings in the kits.

  18. Must admit, Im VERY impressed with Jenny’s RC! They’ve sent me the wrong item, theyve sent me a Revo ESC, not a Summit ESC. Theyre identical, except the Summit one has an additional BEC plug for the lights. Ive emailed them, and within the hour theyve got the correct esc shipped out, with priority tracking. No mention of a return of the Revo etc. Fair Play to them!!1

  19. you need to power up the servo and let it centre itself....then put on the servo horn and linkage. Otherwise...you might end up with the steering all the way to one side. It's not a big deal....just saves on messing about

  21. Dont think you would go wrong with either, i have the 324mm ford sca-1eRTR and its not bad, i think it would of been better as a kit

  25. A lightly used traxxas Mini ERevo, after seeing @Kpowell911 collection I fancied one. Goal is to turn it into a summit so I really only wanted the chassis so I'll sell the rest of it on. It looks like it's been used a handful of times.

  29. Almost didnt arrive in time for SST as DPD van broke down, they still somehow got it here in time. New outlaw driveshafts as mine were donated to the lads truck to ensure he would be sorted FTX stock was out till end of september, but there was Vetta spares in stock. Woot!

  31. @GMballistic thank you so much for the Losi 8ight 2.0. This things an absolute beast!! Best packed item I’ve ever received, took a while to get in! All in very good order and appreciate the notes that came with. Just need to find time to use it now. Won’t be too long I’m sure…

  32. Ansmann Royal Flash. Utter piece of garbage. If it needed to be rigid it was bendy. If it needed to be bendy it was brittle. If it was important...it broke.
