I used to have a maverick scout was great for the garden and taking on holiday etc (see my thread scouting in Yorkshire) with cheap/free mods it can be fairly capable. I got my youngest a basher rocksta for using in the house he makes stuff to climb over. Has four wheel steer as well.1 point

This all seems a bit silly... and also, VERY short-sighted! I love Tamiya, but realistically, the vast majority of their kits could do with being 10% cheaper than they are, plus they should really be including bearings and oil-filled shocks, with everything. And that all should have happened 10 years ago!1 point

Some ESCs have reverse polarity protection built in. If it is behaving normally, it is probably one such ESC. No need to bin it.1 point

Rushed a cut n paint job on the cheapo chinese crawler shell, after spending time making custom mounts for it. Hey ho! Used up some random paint, though the yellow was nearly empty, hence i opted not to try and feather it into the green. Do kinda wish i'd opted not bother with the yellow! Some carefully placed decals will soften the effect.1 point

Looks excellent. I bought the carbon dipped wing for mine. Avoid at all cost. It didn't last 2 minutes before it started pealing off! Modelsport sorted a replacement for me and before I fitted that, I could see bits coming away from the wing. Guessing a manufacturing defect...1 point
