@Seminole81 Nice one mate, it looks good in that colour scheme 👍

Enjoy it, & try not to win against your son when he asks for a race otherwise he'll want your model instead 😋

\o/  T-Bone...

Ian...

I tried one of those things and foiund that I only needed two or 3 of the arms, the rest of them just ended up getting in the way. Did my head in so much that it ended up in the bin... gone back to just doing it all in my hands  (when you're in the back of an equipment rack, this is often the only way) or with pliers and a rubber band!

I would agree about the amount of arms, and luckily I can remove as many as needed.

Whether it turns out to be useful or what I don't know, but I am so rusty at soldering any help is worth it!! 😇

Keep up at the back...   I went from nothing to 5 cars and 3 helicopters in under 2 months  🤣😂🤣

Haha, aye I imagine it heading that way. I've got other cheaper RC drones and helicopters, but nothing decent. They're all sub £100 and have those tiny little LiPo batteries that last like 5 minutes 😄

Aye, it does. Matches my son's MT version to be fair haha. Aye, will have to as he doesn't like losing as it is 😄 just glad they're the same models more or less 😄

Yeah it should help for sure. I'd recomend using bluetak or something to hold the base down, otherwise it can tip off balance when there is any weight on one of the sides you're soldering

Might look into it later down the line. Think my wife will kill me if I keep spending 😅 The helicopters we have now are alright, nothing major, just don't last long. Plus same with drone, slightest bit of wind and they get blown all over.

That’s the same one I fitted to my Ryft 👍

For the cost. Can't go wrong. See how it works and if its good. I will order some more for my other cars

Looking forward to seeing the course when it's finished, obviously going for a high standard.

Been looking at other courses  and seeing what can be done.

Someone told me the torsion rod is a bit soft, I need a longer one anyway, so i ordered some 3mm piano wire to use instead, but the rest of parts are well worth the money anyway 👍
