Popular Post Seminole81
In the words of Ron Burgundy...that escalated quickly went from 0 cars to 2 within a month Got a cracking deal from Modelsport on this once used Maverick Quantum Flux XT (and the RC Core LiPo and charger) if anyone's followed my thread/the Quantum thread. Also picked up some more drivers, body clips, foams, small set of grub screws, cleaning gear, and an additional bigger LiPo...because why not Edited April 8, 2021 by Seminole81

James.S
@Seminole81 Nice one mate, it looks good in that colour scheme 👍 Enjoy it, & try not to win against your son when he asks for a race otherwise he'll want your model instead 😋

I tried one of those things and foiund that I only needed two or 3 of the arms, the rest of them just ended up getting in the way. Did my head in so much that it ended up in the bin... gone back to just doing it all in my hands (when you're in the back of an equipment rack, this is often the only way) or with pliers and a rubber band! I would agree about the amount of arms, and luckily I can remove as many as needed. Whether it turns out to be useful or what I don't know, but I am so rusty at soldering any help is worth it!! 😇 Ian...

They're all sub £100 and have those tiny little LiPo batteries that last like 5 minutes 😄 11 minutes ago, James.S said: @Seminole81 Nice one mate, it looks good in that colour scheme 👍 Enjoy it, & try not to win against your son when he asks for a race otherwise he'll want your model instead 😋 Aye, it does. Matches my son's MT version to be fair haha. Aye, will have to as he doesn't like losing as it is 😄 just glad they're the same models more or less 😄

I'd recomend using bluetak or something to hold the base down, otherwise it can tip off balance when there is any weight on one of the sides you're soldering

Think my wife will kill me if I keep spending 😅 The helicopters we have now are alright, nothing major, just don't last long. Plus same with drone, slightest bit of wind and they get blown all over.
