Nick
Yeah they've swung in at a really good price point. Should do well this Christmas!!! https://www.modelsport.co.uk/search/rc-electric-models?&sort=Relevance&search=gorgon
Lone-wolf
dont like that, but hope it sells well
Kpowell911
Looks a bit toy grade but it appears to be great value compared to a Stampede for example. I cant help but think this would be the ultimate RC to 2002 me when I was Stampede mad!
lorrylemming
If these can handle a 2S or maybe even 3S system without any transmission upgrades they'll make a great car. The Arrma 1/10th 4wd mega models are a bit of a false ecomony with the cheaper transmission compared to the BLX models. EDIT: I wonder if a SCT version is coming with those extra mount holes for nerf bars maybe? Tug
I quite like it. Not the bottom entry battery though, usually a weak point? High-back bodyshells are my favourite, the longer rear posts usually mean less breakages at the rear, something my E-Maxx trucks suffered with until I switched to van style shells.

I think the bottom holes are more for air / drainage in the battery chamber?
lorrylemming
I was thinking of picking up a bodyshell from these for my XT2 but looking at the prices I'll probably just buy a whole truck. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/search/bodyshells?&sort=Relevance&search=gorgon

I half get the pre painted one with all the plastics been so much, but the clear one?!
ZaraDyer
The choice between a pre-painted and clear wrap depends on whether you want a ready-to-go look (pre-painted) or a custom appearance with protection (clear wrap).

BashingBrian
Truck looks fun, especially for new people getting into the hobby, but UK pricing as always is stupid, just go look at the price of a replacement body for example..!! Apparently it will handle 3s without any modifications 👍🏼
