I fear you will of lost many members. Good luck sorting it out. BR, Simon Edited September 24, 2015 by twisty

Popular Post Carpmart
So my 2p on the new forum aesthetics is this... It's bloody great! I know none of us particularly like change and it will take a while for us all to get used to it, but it's a far more modern look with a significantly superior feel to it. Nic, I'm assuming it's more secure too, as in you have some security from a DDoS perspective?other things to bear in mind. All software has a life cycle and a period where it remains supported. Occasionally you have to go through a little pain, to get the current software version up and ready for the next five years. I'm sure in the long run everyone would prefer a scalable, future ready forum for us all to use. I'm sure Nic and the team have been working hard to get just that together for the community.By all means tell the mods about the bugs and make constructive comments to help improve it, but think of the value we all take from this resource. I think we should all provide our gratitude for the effort in providing MSUK for us all. Edited September 24, 2015 by Carpmart
jony nitro
I agree it's fine get use to it in a week, it loads a bit slower on my phone, but apart from that it's fine.
mond
It's been a little slower overall on my phone and I'd like the option of a desktop view for phones but it's OK. More editing options when posting would be good but other than that it's a fairly standard, modern looking forum. Not that the old one was bad! NITO
Good...Photos are much easier to use.Bad...+1 on changing background colour as a matter of urgency!! Check out www.gtr.co.uk for one of the nicest background colours I've used, so much easier on the eye.I'm sure the rest is just getting used to, I haven't played around enough to check much else out. Tug
What is your setup? Desktop, mobile, browser? Please give more detail on what. On an android phone, Galaxy S5. I think it's using the mobile version, but can't find a button the switch to PC version to prove that. Basically, every thread that I'm interested in, I click on it when I know someone's posted something, but instead of taking me to where I last got to, I have to scroll through and find where I left off. Hope this helps.
Nick
Thanks for the suggestions guys, it's late here so I'll crack on them again tomorrow. It's only been a week and I just need your patience with this, we are one community working together to make it better.
Noj
It's bright, it works and today is the first time I've been able to use the forum for more than two minutes without getting an error message (chrome via Nexus tablet).Look forward to a toned down version for the aged eyed members
bigoggy
It worked fine before, and looked good. Now it's slow, crashing, looks amateurish, and generally rubbish.
Anthoop
My feedback (using a PC with Win XP...Opera browser...viewing on an LCD TV)-Changes seem minimal...loading times seem similar...not a problem so far for me.
PraetoR
Not keen on the changes. It's been said, but we cannot stress enough how headache-inducing the garish "in-your-face" colour scheme is. It needs to be toned down.It kind of seems too zoomed-in to me, as well. The emoticon function is also a bit odd, with the "view all" option having apparently Foxtrot Oscared and been replaced by the "default" option. That's OK, but not as easy to find the correct face to convey exactly how you feel about Noj's latest post. As for the rest, It'll probably just be a learning curve.
Alex97
I'm missing the news tab on the tool bar, I keep clicking the chat button.Other than that its alright, it will take a while to get use to tho. Top job Nick for getting the forum up and running again, thanks

Madmini
I'm finding it nearly impossible to tell one post from the next. I'm also finding that actually posting a reply takes ages ( I'm guessing this is server load related)
