hi rc'ers

my dad is 50 this year and he loves the basing with his short course trucks and buggies but I want to build him a rc racing tractor unit.

we have been to countless full size tractor races and I know he'll love a rc version

anyone know of any kits or people who have built one

I cant even find a clear shell yet let alone a chassis

I was thinking of using a touring car chassis and banging a tractor shell on top but is there a good kit out there.

cheers in advance

You will struggle to find a shell.....

There were some made, but none I know of in current production. Thunder Tiger made one that was basically a 1/10 tourer with truck shell. Out of production and rather hard to find.

Tamiya do 1/14 trucks, but they are more scale models than really usable or fast. You may be able to build up something with one of these, but I don;t think the shell would last in a crash.

This might be a posible if you are able to mod it:
