My work in progress LRP twister buggy.

A very straight forward kit to build with detailed instructions.

I chose this kit as a simple build that my 4 year old laddie and i could build and bash at the park.

A custom graphic has been applied to the wing and all going well there will be some Tamiya PS5 and PS29 getting sprayed this weekend.

Deciding what colour to spray it. I'm thinking black. Then it'll be all black with green wheels.

it's my first built r.c, i thought i would start with a Tamiya Zahhak.
I had been searching for a while for a buggy to suit my likes,  many say it's Fugly, i think it has really nice square lines, and prefer it over the 201. (i must like the ugly ones ;-) ).
i've never painted an RC before , or anything else outside of home d.i.y,  my first attempt,  i was bricking it. it turned out ok with tape and tins. This design does exist on another Zahhak in the far east (not many owners about it seems), but it is my take on that airbrush design using spray tins this time. it blends into nearly white at the front. solid silver at rear.

I have started out with brushed electric 23t BZ, plenty of time to upgrade, first need to learn how to race the basic one!.

Been meaning to go leccy with my 1/8 scale for a while and found this up for for £275 as a roller on Facebook, with one race meeting under it's belt and set up by a team driver.

Mentioned i was willing to do a deal on my NT48.3 in part-ex and ended up agreeing on a straight swap, with him paying the postage both ways.

Going to upgrade this with the new .4 parts as and when they wear out, rather than break, and will be powered by a Hobbywing XR8+ and 1900kv motor
