  1. it's my first built r.c, i thought i would start with a Tamiya Zahhak. I had been searching for a while for a buggy to suit my likes, many say it's Fugly, i think it has really nice square lines, and prefer it over the 201. (i must like the ugly ones ;-) ). i've never painted an RC before , or anything else outside of home d.i.y, my first attempt, i was bricking it. it turned out ok with tape and tins. This design does exist on another Zahhak in the far east (not many owners about it seems), but it is my take on that airbrush design using spray tins this time. it blends into nearly white at the front. solid silver at rear. I have started out with brushed electric 23t BZ, plenty of time to upgrade, first need to learn how to race the basic one!.
  2. excellent job. the spring rate for the rear shocks.. is it smaller than front? i.e; the same forgetting the damping rate..
  3. ^ spares seem to be available from alot of places, i would buy a neo scorcher personally as it seems to be good value and comes with 4wd and cva ^ Hello everyone, i brought a lunchbox, that iconic model you lusted after as a kid.. well, i got it now!. I brought it for my nephews, but , maybe i will keep it!, i brough them a neo-fighter to build from scratch (they are only 9/10/11) i think that was a better model to start them on. So, I have a question, the lunchbox i brought came assembled and it has a motor with some 'components' soldered to it, my question is: these components look like they have been soldered on by hand, since the motor is not sold and superceeded i can find any information on it. are the components soldered on to it correctly?. I will be putting power throught it soon and i dont want to damage anything. I am a total novice with RC. picture of motor with components soldered on to it is shown below: I added some oil shocks and 'fixed' the rear axle so it operates without the tilt/camber , more like a grasshopper. i am not sure how this will pan out but i think it will drive better going on the reviews i have read. I can always remove the mod.
