Popular Post Shergar
Had the honour of my daughter wanting to have a wander with me today - and she go her car filthy down the woods instead! Still someone to snap away for me which was nice. Those wet leaves can do one though 😁

Popular Post Ant.p
Having seen what @GMballistic uses to secure his gps in place it gave me the idea of securing an additional battery tray in my VSe as I was having real difficulty squeezing everything in with the shell on. Now installed, everything fits well, and the weight distribution is more balanced than before too. At the same time, I swapped out the centre diff with the modded one @Bert_w164 sent me to use with a 46t losi spur. This combined with my 30t pinion is going to make this thing shift. I’m still struggling to find a quiet and long enough road, but it will happen. I know for sure it’s good for 70mph, but I’m thinking it can probably do quite a bit more… edit: when I say road, I am not using public highway. Only car parks and industrial estates during closed hours! Edited November 16, 2021 by Ant.p
Redback
Awesome stuff, can be sure tricky to fit everything in the shell, already looks quicker than @Bert_w164 cant wait to see you send it, as far as testing is concerned, just making sure it tracks straight and you can handel the power is good enough, maxing it on public roads takes skill and the right roads for sure, dont risk it for a biscut test and tune and enjoy smashing your records at a safe and fun place to run 🙂

Sweet looking build @Ant.p, can't say mine will be anywhere as neat...I get the feeling you have this round 🙂...68mph to beat, and you're only a few mph off with partial throttle during a test run... I guess to stay on topic, I did stare at my speed running shell today, wondering what I did to deserve such a beauty. Popular Post Bert_w164
Out with the old: In with the new: Yes new one is physically smaller 🤔 Cable ties are for mock up, going to redo the whole wiring/cable management as it's got a bit messy with the LED system, motor fans blah blah. Waiting on new wire and connectors 👍🏽
Popular Post Bert_w164
Not even sure why I posted those terrible pics, just noticed it doesn't even show what the ESC is. Still got a lot to do, aluminium construction, no screw holes or mounting bracket, most likely going to use black silicone glue instead of the superglued foamed sandwich I'm using now. Also soldering job isn't tidy as it's being redone when new wires arrive, just wanted to make sure the ESC is fully functional etc at this point. Reds Racing Z8 Pro Gen 2. 220a rated sensored 6S ESC.
