Popular Post walkbythesea
Big day today, did loads! XT90 conversions throughout the lipo powered fleet (except the Tomahawk, which is about the size of an XT90 connector) Started filling the body posts holes in the Charger and removed the old stickers Also got the magnetic body mounts fitted. The Outlaw got alloy steering arms and knuckles and a load of rake for the next speed run attempts …and finally I fixed the recycling bin, having been using it as a stool and breaking the lid off with my excessive weight… Edited July 10, 2021 by walkbythesea

The standard one doubles up as a fixing point for your ESC too: https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/372372?gclid=Cj0KCQjwraqHBhDsARIsAKuGZeGLbSmQa2OSnnjUiVZl-uek61fKIganeCpsHlUGj32L7Qly1BcQBLAaAnvkEALw_wcB

Popular Post Shergar
Technically yesterday…. Building up a scaler using Scout/Mauler/HSP/94180 bits bough as they pop up cheaply. Started on assembling the front axle, red & tacky grease, RC bearings and Schmaucher diff shims.
KC59
The other day I received through the post an aluminium servo horn that I thought I'd have a go at fitting to my Lunchbox steering servo because I think the standard set-up is a little woolly because of the servo saver. I also used some suitably sized m3 threaded rod that I had to measure and cut to suit the new horn to steering arm length. After a little fettling I fitted two brass ball head connectors to the new arm and cut the m3 rod to suit both sides I set about refitting all the bits, which surprisingly, all went back together ok, a few tweaks to the rod ball joint connectors later and all was working fine. The Lunchbox now seems to have a tighter turning circle and is a lot more positive. (P.S. Sorry about the jerky video's) IMG_0680.MP4 IMG_0679.MP4

Popular Post Redback
Limited the travel on the DR10 shocks to stop it lifting and hopefully prevent flipping out on 3s. About 4mm clearance and massive amount of rake. Lead weight to also hold the front down. Elecy upgrade, as my mamba x sct was warrenty repaired and couldnt run it, swapped to mamba monster x from the outlaw 😱 shifted it to the back and moved battery way forward to again try to prevent flipouts. Hope to get it to go over 60 this time...

Popular Post Redback
Gave the DR10 a quick test 45mph on 50% throttle should do 60 and was super stable no flipping, even got some unexpected air and it was 50.50 balanced. Next victim is my really slow Limitless 76mph or something is pretty laughable with the setup thats in it, range was the main issue. Typhoon the turtle wants to be sent to 100mph! Cleaned up all the wiring, setup full rake and fitted the 600m twin boosted reciver, shes now ready for 100+ safely. Also upgraded the deans on the mamba monster x, max8 & max 6 esc's to 6mm bullets, Also moved all the batteries to 6mm bullets, adapters for the 8mm 4s packs to allow 6s, 7s or 8s parallel / serial setups with ripple pack support. Popular Post BigGinge
Technically all I've done today is set the toe and camber on the wheels but over the last few days I've turned this pile of bits into this not quite finished truggy. I still need to paint the shell and sort out some issues with the connectors on the ESC but think I'll have to wait until I get back from holiday next week before I can take it any further now.
