They probably have the models set up in such a way that they just make a measurement or two, punch it into the CAD system, and it gives them a template that they can cut and form. The way the stock bumper is actually braced looks like it has a lot more meat behind it, but of course you can't really just "form" a part to replace it. Not having a dig at TBR btw, just taking a guess at how they work. But anyway.... I have 2 more ideas.

On drive shaft grub screws It looks like you've got a bit of loctite on the plastic axle housing there, you might want to wipe it off as loctite isn't good for plastic. Looks good though, nice and fresh 🙂

Had a blast with it over a large field. Went through 2 4000mAh 2S LiPos. unfortunately have a small break by the little lad hitting the brakes from flat out 😅 result was a front flip and it landing on the body posts which caused them to break. Parts are MV150199 anyone knows of some aluminium ones 😅 Snap . I mean I did the same lol . I swapped the broken set for a mint set off the other twin motor carnage (TMC). But then cut the broken post flat on the body post part then drilled two holes in the posts then screw two 10 Mm screws in to the holes then cut the tops off the screws then I had two battery post off the TMC which I then screwd them down on to the cut off screws down to body post part Fixed for now

DogBone
Bodged up my senton bumper again yesterday. I fully expect it to brake again after my last bodge held for about 2 minutes but it will do for one more run!

turok007
What a work up if you want to mess with the wheel base on a R1 you have to grind a bit of the chassis away so the motor don't hit it. And the best way to do that is remove the whole cage side.

BaldyMan
Took the Quatum out again and the servo went again. All the steering is loose and wobbly so I've ordered a 20kg full metal servo to arrive tomorrow. Never installed a servo so hoping it goes in easy enough
Stormbringer
put the servo in then power it up with steering trim to 0 then attach the horn so that wheels are as straight as you can get them screw it up then trim it next run
BaldyMan
I think I have identified the issue in that the servo did not have thread lock installed as the servo horn had dropped away from the servo. I can get it running again but I'm concerned it may have stripped the thread now. New servo and thread lock has been ordered
