Ready to bash again this weekend. Interesting that the plate looks a bit like a fan. Today took the banzia out for quick blast on 4s, tires peeled off the gmade beadlocks within 4 min, just hooning about, these had gone to 61mph on 3s on my last run so mark me impressed, Would reccommend crawler beadlocks for your rally car tires! Made a parallel adaptor for the lipos as i wont give up deans just yet 😛 probably dont need it got a good 15+ min out of a single one drifting. Tonight popped on the sorex wheels and tires should be good for 100mph, however the drive train is tearing itself apart so, fixing the bent slipper shaft and seeing if i can balance the center drive shaft oscillation with a 2nd motor mount and bearing. Along with fixing the slop in the steering with a better servo. Going to have to paint this on the outside as I don’t have the budget for a new shell. Not as if this thing ever going to get road rash 🤣But when it does inevitably get scratched, I plan to patch it up with whatever paint I have available, hopefully giving a more organic, evolving old truck look (I think the technical term is “bag-o-*****”?) Anyways, in the meantime, took several coats of red before the old paint job stopped showing through. As the old one the threads was stripped on the screw holding the steering bar .so after waiting nearly 2 weeks to be delivered (1st one got lost mmmmm even there ebay feedback 100+ NEGS never arrived .not shipped .not in stock .. replies in the last 6 months ) So filled it with ebay get a new one sent tracked (1st one was tracked too but still missing ) So fitted the new servo saver bit of a pain as the screw on the left side has rounded off. So lucky the servo side came undone easy . So swapped all the bits .fitted the battery tray and the fixed the esc on top of the reciver box.. fixed the reciver box had 3 holes in it . So only one hole where the wires go thro and plastic welded them so box now waterproof . (Might have to say weatherproof) lol . Then fixed the on/off switch to the reciver box .
