I miss the cheap top up shops, connectors, wire and decent lipos at half the price of their rivals. Sadly over the last 3 years they dropped off massively to nothing. 

It was great for buying small things like servos and bits n bobs for making stuff. They also did some great planes at great prices, had many over the years. Have a look now and with shipping its just ridiculous. 😟

whats the difference between the pro roller and the normal rtr one?

cracking wee cars had my mini b rtr converted to brushless out for a run earlier and it is insane for its size and handles the power like a champ, literally has better handling than a lot of my 10 scale ones lol 🙂

Same as  a normal mini b but comes with  some upgrades such as aluminium shocks, alu servo arm, alu bell crank, alu front pivot block so a bit of a bargain at £69!  Assuming it comes, never ordered anything from Amain before.

a 2019 Euro 6 IS compliant. TFL are money grabbing thieves, desperately trying to balance the books by effectively stealing money.

I have had a large number of 'tickets' to deal with on red routes where I work, issued by TFL where no red markings wre present...where markings clearly ended, and where the 'operator' clearly had no idea how to work out what a loading bay was and how you can't ticket them when unloading in a loading bay during its tiomes of operation....

I know challenge EVERY ticket TFL issue on principal, just to force them to do the work.

Appeal those tickets. Worth checking on the DVLA website to make sure your reg is properly recorded. Most likely it's an error with it being recorded and a 'missing' reg is treated as non compliant. You absolutely do not owe them money for ULEZ.

How much difference between 2021 & 2022 XTR's?  Guessing you could buy the 'upgrades' fairly cheaply if they're not too significant?

Why not take a look at the Associated mt8 ? Regarding the Kronos etc watch this makes a lot of sense and certainly will change opinions on what’s good or bad imo. 

I think between the 2021 and 2022 it's about £140 worth of upgrades, Mines a 2021 but have bought everything 2022 for it now apart from the new shock pistons. It's fairly tanky if you're not using it like Kev, I'd say it's on par or very close to as durable as my previous Hype Vse. Only thing i really keep breaking is steering links and stripped a couple of cheap servo's.

It's a facelift more than a new model, if you want something "new" then they do the 4x4 versions. I don't think there's anything wrong with tidying up their current range once in a while.

Why not do a Tamiya and do some re-releases?

Probably in the minority here, but I like the fact a particular platform is available for a long time, means plentiful and relatively inexpensive spare parts, huge aftermarket support, and knowing that your rig is always the very latest version 😁

And let's be honest, does an entry level 2wd basher really need all the latest cutting edge technology?  Just be nice if the price of the trucks reflected the fact they've had pretty much zero development costs over the last few decades.

Agreed £800 for a 1/8th scale basic rtr is way to much especially when you can get a top of the line Corally roller and kit it out for cheaper !

Well i did get some amazing shots with the DBXL-E, while not 100% a basher it's not really a scaler either. 

So i can see it. I just don't see why it needs a stupid name and guns, rather than just making it a rock bouncer/baja.

yep, by the time I’d bought the shell, interior, paint, 3d printed back seat, plasticard and glue, my Range Rover classic shell came in at around £250.

but the price hike is across the board, it gets scary to price up a Toyota Hi-lux shell from Tamiya or Rc4wd.

and a £100 for a new lexan MST Discovery shell….. 

I half get it for a Crawler, the scale is the appeal. For a basher though?
