Depends on what you want to do.
Wanna run in mud? Probably the best choice. Wanna semi-scale? Not the best choice. It's going to be different than for example a Bronco 21 in terms of crawling - more ground clearance, but also higher centre of gravity leading to more tipping.
As a general crawler, i'd go with a Bronco 21 over the K10. The body doesn't matter, the K10 has an inch more suspension, and 2.2 instead of 1.9 wheels. It's better at wading, it's worse at crawling, would be my guess.

I’d buy the cheapest Sport kit and a Chevy/GMC body from J concepts (if it was in stock) for less than £370! Lower centre of gravity too.

Ive never been more into RC, I love buying and working on them, and coming on the forum etc. I check eBay/Facebook every day for new ones. However, I strangely have no desire to run or use them. I finished early today, could’ve took any of them out, as theyre all running, but Instead I cleaned and worked on one 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

@Shergar my next trail will be a kit and as a back up i have a kind chap lined up to do the chassis build ha ha, but i will more than likely do it myself

Yeah, hoping having the track as an option to use whenever I want is going to keep me engaged in the hobby better than before. Don't really get much out of just going backwards and forwards in a field and always get fed up with the questions you inevitably get when you're out and about somewhere with people.

Suprised theres no News thread ln these new Armma’s
-
@.AJ. not as bad as the "new" bandit 🤣
-
The new Porsche 992 GT3 RS is an absolute joke!
-
You can tell Ive been spending too much on RCs lately…. I’m working a Saturday tomorrow!!
-
Real shame Tower Hobbies dont ship Internationally any more 😞
They were genuinely the biggest RC shop on the planet at one point. I mustve spent thousands with them, they had some epic deals and codes.
Also. Scratch n Dent bargains FTW

Fair play to the Lionesses!! Must admit, Ive been into womens football a bit more lately as my Mrs is a Centre Back at a highish standard (one legue below professional), but theyve done us proud, in a sold out Wembley!! 🦁🦁🦁🏴🏴🏴

Somethings going on here! Recently I bought a T-Maxx 3.3 on eBay. Paid straight away. The next day, the guy refunded me and said he couldnt complete the deal because of the fee's. Fair enough. I won another RC yesterday, via best offer. I paid, guy messaged me saying its all ready to be shipped. Sorted. Just thought Id check for the tracking, and he has refunded me.....? No contact etc......?

Maybe a Nitro was not meant to be. Bought one on eBay, paid for it, then the guy has refunded me saying eBay fee’s were too much but has relisted it….
-
I want a nitro….. 🙃🙃🙃

For me Federer is the GOAT, but Djokovic is an actual machine. He just seems to have gears/levels that he can always move up to! 🎾

That Prodive P25 and the Singer 964 Porsches are exactly what we need more off, not all this new hyper car rubbish!!

Did anyone order the Amazon deal Arrma Infraction V2? If so were there any other fee’s other than the already paid import tax?

My favourite three words. No, not “I Love You”…..,, “Out For Delivery” 😂
-
Apparently my Mrs thinks a £1k TENT! is an excellent use of my recently sold RC funds……. Easy come easy go eh?

Yeah they sadly are expensive. I do find interesting how the perception changed for me though, growing up in germany those things were everywhere, and when you saw them, there was no prestige to them. They were a "poor mans car/van", like a Ford Transit.
Today you gotta sell house, a kidney and your firstborn to get one.
-
Love that about them, there's no space wasted inside. Two villages down the road a guy has the lift top version:
And it's amazing. I genuinely would take this over a modern camper, assuming it's just for a single camping trip. If i went into "full time camping", having certain amenities probably outweighs the romanticism of these things for me, but man. I can see myself crossing the country for a month or two in one of thems.

I kinda wanna sell 6/7 RCs, and build something ‘special’. A mental X maxx, a Brushless Losi 5t or a Tamiya Big Truck…….

I have had the urge to do this sort of thing before too....
I look at things like Tamiya Clod Busters, and think about a proper monster build based on one.... or making an oversized statement piece like a largescale tank or half track ... but I usually don;t bother. Over sized vehicles tend to get sidelined faster with me as its just such a lot of work and effort to take one out anywhere. Build a 6 wheeled 3 engined monster Baja and find its too bulky to carry.
Thats why I ended up building a 6x6 Hyper.....because it was something different and usable!

Credit where credit is due. We all moan about negative experiences, but heres a positive one. Ali Express! Recently bought a part (alloy steering brace for the X Maxx). I ordered red, received blue…..
This was a £30 part. From China. I thought Ill try a refund. Went through their online system, printed a free return label (to the UK) and posted it back.
I didnt expect much, but within 3 days, I got an email saying it had been received, and 2 days later, the money is back in my bank 🙂
