In my experience, RC enthusiasts really are quite nice. As some of you may know I sell parts on Ebay a fair bit. Bloke orders 2 pairs of dog bones and when the missus goes to despatch there is only one in the box. I message the guy to apologize and asks if he'd prefer to cancel and get them elsewhere and he says 'no mate send the one then send me the other when you get some in' what a legend. My wife does cake toppers and when dear little tarquins dinosaur cake topper doesn't turn up on time because they ordered too late, well, they are generally way less understanding. Also, I have a much much higher rate of sales v feedback left, so well done you lot continue to be the nice lot you are.

So true Darren the amount of times ive been out bashing and somethings broke and another members got me running or stripped there spare down is insane guess we all love the hobby enough to see others having fun 👍

It's not just RC people though, but in general the attitude towards RC guys is good, too. I've yet to have an unpleasant encounter with my RC cars, obviously kids dig the X-Maxx etc when we're out bashing, but even more so it's elderly people when they see us out with our crawlers. Lotsa smiles, thumbs up etc, genuine interest as to how it works - one even wanted me to order him a TRX4 on the spot through his phone, which we didn't end up doing because his grandkids were running off, but still. Goes to show that if you're respectful as an RC guy, you're welcome (within reason) everywhere, and we crawl very public right on the beach. .. try that flying a drone lol.

Its looking like my next rig is gonna be a Coyote, and done rather nice, this will be a no expense spared (rare for me) build thinking HW1080, nice motor maybe a holmes, but i really do need to sell a couple of rigs first

Too right, I joined the local crawler club earlier this year and was amazed at how friendly and helpful the other members where, as @Bajadre says, the offer of help and parts if needed, even off their spare crawlers, the RC community is awesome 👍

Yep, strip the shocks apart and put green slime grease in the O-rings where the piston rod slides, if you have been happy with how they were working then stick to 35wt

My older cat has to have some dental work done, the vets have quoted £680 and conveniently my pet insurance won’t cover it….. The big Kraton will be going up for sale later 😔
