fitted outer portal brass casings to the trx 4 earlier and also added for asthetic reasons and a bit extra weight break discs and calipers, also greaesed em a bit while they were open and added some red alloy shackles to the back of the new bumper π had a hell of a time getting one of my drive pins out of one of the brass hexes, the little ****** stripped, ended up drilling it out then found a suitable one then it was to long on the threaded bit so was protruding on the wheel hex preventing the wheel from going on, out came the dremmel to sort that little problem and all good π4 points

After a lot of rude words. 4 different test items. And a lot of messing about and a nice headache my pro44 link riser is finished. Not the most tidy item. But it's good enough for now. Time to print a final one off and get it fitted. Also sorted the weight hangers last night. Added 40mm to the axle. One more job sorted off the list. Habe already fixed the issue with the 2 small holes in the weight hangers. Moved them slightly. Getting some slugs made for it next week.2 points

So, I have a whole 1/2 mile stretch of tarmac all to myself..... π What's a guy to do? The tyres performed flawlessly. Consistent grip, progressive past the limit and made the car surprisingly agile for such a big machine. No dramas - yes, as you get to that >75% throttle mark, the car squirms like a F1 car, but it just lurches onwards never the less. Motor was warm after half a dozen runs, but this is hardly surprising for 75mph runs with 0-60 around the 2.0 second mark..... π The truck sounded smooth, everything stayed together - a flawless performance by both tyres and Kronos XTR.2 points

Theres quite a thread on the vantage ,have a read through it is quite long but there are tips on how to improve it1 point

they have to make every truggy as ugly as possible these days. they make them more ugly to blind the opponents, because they have run out of ideas to actually improve performance. π1 point
