Posted April 10, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted April 10, 2021 I’m on FB and I’ve seen this build pop up a few times, I asked the guy some questions and decided yep this something I wanna build! Quick rundown..... Element RC Enduro running IFS Trailing arm conversion kit Proline Ford Ranger body He’s also running Tekin electrics, a Reefs RAW 500 servo and SSD Beadlocks and Yeti trailing arms So far I’ve ordered the Enduro builders kit, IFS kit, the trailing arm conversion kit, SSD trailing arms, some cheapo beadlocks and tyres off Amazon, a Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster Sport 550 21t, cheap sway bar kit like I run on the Ryft, plus a few oddments..... 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I run pretty wide tires and deep dish rims to offset the narrow wheelbase, and a 30kg on 7v wont move them. I had to use a 40kg+ brushless servo direct powered on 3s to get any form of consistant steering and it still binds up. Ifs is a looker not a performer sadly 😞 but i enjoy driving the ifs system when it works, can get places solid axles cant. Hope you have more luck than me 🙂 looking forward to seeing how your build goes. Edit: I'm crawling with mine, if your not getting it bound down im sure your choice is fine, just trying to warn you. All built stock apart from the trailing arms to replace the rear lower link, they obviously aren’t mounted correctly to use the on arm shock positioning, I can’t do that till the conversion kit arrives and that will be a few weeks yet Observations while building Negatives Plastic pivot balls, the IFS uses metal Plastic wheel hex’s Some hardware seem to have very shallow hex’s that even my MIP’s stripped The front oil weigh now seem too light using the IFS Bump steer using IFS Positives Stealth overdrive transmission High quality diff gears Steel transmission gears Metal servo horn with IFS kit Top draw shocks Very easy to follow instructions Cool scale garage on the inside of the Kit box Loads of option parts for overdrive and wheelbase length in the box Overall at this point I’ll give the kit and IFS kit a solid 8.5/10 👍 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
