Think i bought this last August~October, put it all together and span the wheels on blocks and never got round to taking it on the road. Also have original box and instructions, there is a pinion on the motor ready (cant remember the teeth), steering servo. All that will be missing are batteries, transmitter and receiver. Any advice on how to setup the rear diff as open? Atm it has 1 large shim, 1 small. Then i got star, star, circle LSD plates then gear. insert cross pins and gears, then gear, circle, star, star, large shim, small shim. Problem i have now its jammed when the diff is put together. Should i be removing either 2 large or the 2 small shims?

Mine has just 2 plates, no shims but at least the plates are cheap and they turned up quickly so can finish it off

Been doing my diffs, went to do the rear and noticed im missing one of the LSD plates, got 2 of the star ones but not the circle one. Anyone else notice this?

i bought the Yeah Racing dual fans from Aminhobbies its a nice simple fan setup which takes edge of temps

Yea i would of thought you want to stay in the 12-15t range with that setup, 18-22 is more for the 1650kv motors

Outcast aint bad on 6s tbh, still able to do jumps fine, calms the wheelies down a bit as well!

Me and my mate got loads, from 2s to 6s all sorts of MAHs. All been great, takes about 15-20 days. It looks like when they ship them out they notify Yodel, guess why it says waiting.

Thanks will have a look, i went to buy a M2C XLX2 plate but it cost double in postage, so got a 1717 + MMX8s coming for the kraton as i stole the ESC for the Outcast 😜

there any pinion options that do a bigger grub screw? I got RW one atm, pinion its self is fine but i had a crash, pinion come loose (did have TL on it) tightened it back up and im sure its rounded.... Still really impressed with how it handles stock, balanced and just glides over bumps. Might gear down a bit running 38/39 and its a bit hot to touch, but when i checked on castle link it said 138f which is well below reccomended

My boy got the previous one, it takes a bashing well and keeps going. Once a tyre exploded on 3s, but we were on a very rough terrain, not even suitable for 1/8 let alone a 1/10. Second breakage was a pin in the drive shaft, but i did run his car over a few times with a Outcast 8s exb so might of been my fault ;f

What i did mate, i made 3 for me, 1 for my Max 5 ESC and a few for mates, cost me about £30 for 47 cfm fans, mounting, i even got the cable shrouding and heat shrink so it look all tidy. Noisy buggers though 28k rpm lol

I was speed running a Hobao VTE think i had 78mph out of the Max 8 combo which wasnt bad! I had the buggy version running like a rally car which did 60 geared it down a bit was really fun on 6s
