Hey man, great to hear whispers of the icons of crawling!... I have one rig with the best of both worlds - XR10 axles with a Bully2 body! I believe there should be a post on it here somewhere.. As to the now... There are as you'd expect quite a few different options but nothing I know of that is dirt cheap. In terms of MOA really the Bully2 is the most economic entry option - If you can afford it then buy the kit and add your own electronics... Besides that the other best option is to look out for second hand rigs - don't come up often but are around, there's a few Face Book UK based pages where you can ask. The only other thing to consider perhaps is a Sporty / Shafty comp crawler instead - so 1 motor on the skid and shaft driven... These are a lot cheaper to access at the starter stages certainly...

Hey up.. So the windscreen rule I'm pretty sure is stricter in SORRCA - the scale stuff, if I remember correctly it definitely applies to C1 and possibly C2 but would need to look it up. As for our comp 2.2 rigs I believe the "must resemble a real vehicle body" rule would mean a windscreen shape certainly is required.. Bully2 is a great rig. I run a bully2 chassis on some XR10 axles. As for rear steer, I've certainly seen plenty do the conversion on the bully, but it's not for me, makes it too capable and I like the limitations of the rules. Motor mixing, dig and burn are plenty fun 🤗 (Oh, and best get a piece up in the pic thread - be great to see the rig 👍)

As HH says, G speed UK offer a decent chassis. There is also a chassis release from GCRC which looks interesting....

Can't you cut some flat ones out of lexan?. Or do you want all the features and bumps?

I love Teknos!! Such quality. I have an MT410 but also the older ET48. I have to say the ET is solid, I really didn't think id like it as much as I do; very stable in the air and pretty strong. I also looked at the 2.0 version but at that time it was only just releasing and had little aftermarket support so picked up the older unit. I'm sure the support is there now. And yes.... UGLY AS DUCK!!🤣 But plenty of bodies that will fit I'm sure...

Looks to be a real quality build that. And that body.... I don't appreciate the shape, but the paint job is just insane!!.. Enjoy 👍

This looks good mate and some sensible mods 👍. The only Hpi I ever owned was a Vorza. It was incredible but the rear upright/hub kept breaking and metal units weren't available at the time. Was very very agile. Still toy with building a rally rc but not so many places to run a fast one round here. Goodluck with the Scoob!.
