That told me everything but the size.

how big is it? Comparable to a U.d.r for example?

does look nice though and I think worth the money if it’s 10th scale upwards.... :good:

Not comparable no, it's 10th scale, so like Slash/Senton, but I do believe it's a tad bigger, nowhere near UDR/SBR/Mojave sort of size though.

So more like a small hyper7 then or like you say a big slash/senton.

also I’d guess at maximum power is 3s lipo too.

hand on heart, I’d still love a U.d.r, only problem is i couldn’t justify or afford to buy a new one.......

I kinda like that, but I hate when a company calls something limited edition and adds a chunk to the price.

...or when a company calls something a limited edition when it was already released as a 'limited edition' back in April/May last year, albeit with blue wheelarch trim and wheel rims instead of red, otherwise identical...

Exactly, and I think I am right in thinking most of the stickers were peeling out of the box for a few people.

If you are meaning the 'King' version?

I would safely say 3s maximum on a 3800kv motor.

To recap:

Red version of the older Mint 400 body
Red cage and beadlocks
Comes with a neat coin

Much cheaper transmitter, the same one that comes with the Mini-T 2.0. The other Baja Rey models come with a DX2E.

No AVC like previous Baja Reys
Includes a decent hardcase lipo and a USB-C charger (is stuff like this going to be the new wall charger?)

Also heard through the grapevine that it has a larger bearing in the center drivetrain somewhere.

Costs $100 more

I dunno, theres some good and some bad. I dont really see where the extra $100 of value is coming from other than exclusivity. 🤔

It does look super cool tho
