oodboo Posted June 11, 2020 Share Posted June 11, 2020 Sounds to me like something is jammed. That would also cause the esc to heat up quickly. The wheels turn freely in opposite directions, that’s the normal function of the diff but with all wheels on the floor you should be able to push the car forwards easily. How comfortable are you with a screwdriver? Start by taking the motor off and see if you can turn the pinion freely, if that moves plug in the electronics and see if it runs with the motor out. harry87 Posted June 15, 2020 Author Share Posted June 15, 2020 I've fitted a new motor to it after finding a few stones, it runs then dies after about 4 meters let go of throttle pull throttle back again and will go for another 4 meters before it just stops again, any ideas? fnknan Posted June 15, 2020 Share Posted June 15, 2020 (edited) Sounds like the escs getting overloaded. Could be some sort of resistance in the drivetrain if you've already replaced the motor. harry87 Posted August 26, 2020 Author Share Posted August 26, 2020 Got it sorted now cheers guys upgraded spur and pinion goes a lot faster but now the battery doesnt last very long at all, can anybody recommend a cheap 2s lipo n charger please?
