TX/RX question

Okay, i have an Etronix EX2 pulse radio set in my Mauler pickup all good, could i buy a second matching RX and put this in my Ripmax fast 2000, as i want to put waterproof electrics in the ripmax, so new servo, new esc and RX, having 2 models on the one TX would it be a case of just using the bind button or would i have to do the whole thing each time i changed model, complete rebind?

I have 1 turnigy 9xr TX for my tanks which are fitted with turnigy 9x 8 channel receivers, all I do is swap models in the menu, if your TX supports a model change then yes once you’ve been through the bind process just swap models in the menu on the TX.

 

Good points cost wise it’s cheaper

 

Bad points I’ve seen tanks/trucks/cars driven off tables at meets because the wrong models been selected [emoji2959]

Depends on how many model memories it has matey am pretty sure that's a one model tx/rx set you could buy another receiver and rebind it that way whe you swop r over but I doubt you cant pick a different model to use from the tx etc same as my £60 futaba that's only one model etc

It  should  be no problem to bind a 2nd  car to your tx  . But thy will have the same settings for both cars . ..

I would buy the DX5C in the sales, great bit of kit ?

Thanks for the replies, i am best sticking with stock radio and esc on the ripmax and finding a way to waterproof it
