Shergar Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Really? Ive not read the books but what is there to understand? A cracking bit of TV. I did find Boba Fett a bit of a disappointment after the Mandalorian, but I'm not a Starwars fan boy 😁 Quote
Nick Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Just looked up Reacher, it gets good reviews, will have to try that as my next series! Quote
m4inbrain Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 (edited) Binged through Space Force S2 yesterday. Just love the actors. edit: didn't get fully warm with Boba Fett either, was "okay". Also watched Nightflyers recently, which was just arse. Didn't enjoy that at all, boring. Edited February 20, 2022 by m4inbrain Quote

Nick Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Watched a couple of episodes of Jack Reacher tonight it is an easy good watch, a bit cheesy at times but some good action. 😄 1 Quote
Captain Howdy Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 (edited) Just got Robin Williams "One Hour Photo" Blu ray in the post today. Watched it a few years ago, thought it was an awesome film. Not a role you'd expect to see him in. Got some Mexican food lined up tonight Edited March 3, 2022 by Captain Howdy 1 Quote

walkbythesea Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 The new Picard tonight is so much better than the first series so far, it’s like TNG has grown up! Quote
Captain Howdy Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 'One hour Photo' it was really good watching it again, I'd forgotten the ending I think the film was made to look grainy, so the Blu Ray treatment made it look even more grainy! No Mexican food tonight. Re - watching "The Insider" Al Pacino, Russell Crowe. Quote

Captain Howdy Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 (edited) Been watching "The Andy Warhol diaries" on Netflaps Andy Warhol was a fake and pretty useless without a projector He couldn't paint, screen printing and colouring in was his game ! His work with Basquiat was laughable. Basquiat's work was laughable, childish drawings! The whole thing just seemed to be a homosexual fantasy film. But It was cool seeing Fab Five Freddy today, always liked that dude, Hiphop OG Edited March 12, 2022 by Captain Howdy Quote
Nick Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Started a Netflix series called "Sense 8", second episode so far an it's intriguing! Quote
Nick Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Watched "The Father" on Prime with Anthony Hopkins, golly it's an emotional ride, especially if you've had loved ones with Alzheimer's. Excellent film how it makes the viewer experience it. Quote
Nick Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 I'm watching "Outer Range" on Amazon Prime, 2 new episodes every Friday and I'm hooked. Great show. Better Call Saul's new season is also out on Netflix and I've just started The Queen's Gambit. Quote
Captain Howdy Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 The past couple of nights I've watched the 'True Story' series on Netflix, Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes. I didn't really know who Kevin Hart was until watching this - it's somewhat biographical from his part. It was superb, not what I expected at all! Wesley Snipes is great as a nightmare brother. Billy Zane is very convincing as Ari. Definitely recommend this. Quote
