kaylon Posted November 23, 2016 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Looks ugly in a not cool way and the suspension design looks to me like it would collapse inboard with hard driving and it's putting a huge amount of strain on that single vertical mount location. Si Coe Posted November 23, 2016 Share Posted November 23, 2016 I like this, though I'm really not sure exactly who they are aiming at. Its clearly not a racer - the battery position and the beadlock wheels show that, but the drivetrain and arms look like they do belong on a race car. The suspension will work, but not all that well so despite the off road appearance this isn't a big air machine - and those tyres also hint at tarmac more than hardcore off roading. Meanwhile the shell, whilst unique doesn't actually look much like a real off road buggy, so its not going for scaler looks. My best guess is this thing is an ideal 'car park basher' where the carpark in question isn't super smooth tarmac to suit an onroader. Thats a very niche market - especially as pretty much any conventional buggy will work there too. So nice idea, certainly different, but not sure its going to catch on. Found them for €269 somewhere, the exact link is in may last status. Need to see an unboxing and it driving to make my mind up properly though. cookie666uk Posted December 1, 2016 Share Posted December 1, 2016 I recon this will be pretty strong. deleting the shock towers mean all the force from one shock basically goes back into the supension on the other side. What I cant work out however is is it TVP, traditional flat chassis or a mixture of both. If both it may well be a bit of a heavyweight....
