  1. After a couple of weeks not doing anything with RC’s decided to paint the cc-02 Range Rover project really unimpressed with the quality of the shell 🙄 the stickers are so thin they rip when taking them off the sticker sheet the window wipes snapped so can’t use them and had to make more holes for the font body posts I’m thinking of using the original unimog body and trying to make something out of that or look for something else 🤔 here’s a pic of it anyway looks so much better in the pic than in real life
  2. Still available now has a 45kg servo fitted will need a UBEC to run at that or it’s 35kg from the receiver power
  3. Nice 👌 only criticism is that the wheels are to big otherwise looks great
  4. what are you not happy about ? colour is spot on for the truck and looks great to me 👍 it’s going to be much much better than the Range Rover I’m doing so 🤣
  5. This could be right up my street any ideas on pricing ?
  6. Looked on the main Injora website and the official one on aliexpress only going to be around £17 to £20 difference so will probably get one in the UK 👍 but that pro-line power wagon keeps calling my name 🤣
  7. I’m going to Halfords soon to get some paint for my winter project so if they have some GT85 I’ll buy some 👍 as for getting the shell from the source what’s the experience like with them delivery time if anything is broken on delivery what’s the customer service like ? only reason I was going to buy from the uk was it’s quicker and if anything is wrong with it it’s quicker to get sorted out unless there’s quite a price difference that is ?
  8. I do like the look of tray backs or what ever they are called and is my first choice as well but the power wagon is calling me to do an old very old 🤣 ex military themed build 🤔 just wanted something that I couldn’t give a monkey about getting beat up as the defender only has a little scuff on the arch so far and want as clean as possible for when it’s on display 😁
  9. Alright so I’ve not touched the TRX4 for a while now and was looking at it earlier and have worked out why now I’m not sure if this is just me but I don’t like using it because of the body not because it’s a problem but because I don’t want to ruin it so have been looking at all different types of body’s and parts for the last couple of days and seem to keep coming back to this https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/fastrax-110-rockee-pickup-rear-cage-hardbody-313mm-324mm-white-1334535 I’ve also taken a liking to the proline 1964 power wagon shell https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/pro-line-1946-dodge-power-wagon-clear-body-425534 but I’m not sure it would fit with the rear shock towers as it says it fits the SCX10 and Vaterra Ascender 🤔 has anyone have any experience with either one of these shells ?
  10. I heard and read about GT85 but never used it myself what does it smell like is it like WD40 ?
  11. That’s awesome I would do the same thing as well you need a trailer out of a bin or something 😁
  12. I know exactly how you’re feeling I’m at a loss with the Carisma Range Rover shell 😔
  13. That does ring a bell actually when I built a v2 kit I think it depends on what way the diff goes in you have the crown gear on opposite sides to each other but I think I’m not 100% sure you can put them on either way but fair enough stick with what you know 👍
  14. Ah fair enough I probably would do the same 👍
  15. There not exactly cheap body shells either would of expected a better quality don’t see mine lasting long to be honest already looking for something else to use 🙄
  16. What’s the quality like of the body ? I have the Range Rover body and it’s very hit and miss in places very thin literally can rip a hole in some places just by pushing it in with very minimal force I’m not overly impressed with it as I to have the same issue with the front grill doing the same thing but it’s going to be beaten with an inch of its life anyway so I’m not really worried about it that much but would be pretty annoyed if it was for a shelf queen
  17. proper Axial SCX10 ii axles are like £80 for one kind of makes no sense on something like this as it a cheap RC to begin with but I understand why you got them it’s a shame that Axial scx10 ii and trx 4 axles are so expensive I personally think that they would be very popular if they were a lower price for custom builds
  18. Yeah I’ve heard that about the Injora axles one if the main reason I’m 50/50 about getting a set for my cc-02 Range Rover build but I suppose I could order a couple of extra parts you mentioned but I’m also considering the Carisma axles as well I believe you can mount the servo on the axles of the v2 Carisma axles you just need the mounting for it but don’t quote me on that
  19. Looks good 👍 but why do you need new axles it come with some didn’t it ?
  20. Not much fully fixed the stampede and the body posts arrived for the cc-02 Range Rover build so now it’s finally sitting on the chassis the front might need to come back a couple of millimetres but I’m going to wait until I’ve decided on whether to get different axles or use wide offset wheels 🤔
  21. Looking for a set of front and rear SCX10/SCX10 ii axles or similar for my cc02 project
