Lights as in LED's? plenty of pre wired LED's on ebay, the Tamiya unit is rather pricey.
 
Wings, again plenty on ebay or is it specific to a certain model?

It’s for my mercades amg gt3 shell so need to be for that

Does it have light buckets?

 

As for the wing, you can pretty much fit any wing designed for a coupe or saloon as your shell has a flat boot. Any drift car wing will likely fit.

have a question regarding the grass hopper

 

will the front wheels be able to be made into a drive wheel ? I know it's a bearing wheel but would you be able to use the rear pin drive things for the back on the front aswell ?

 

or anyone know where you can get the same sort of wheels narrow at the front and wide at the back ?

Assuming you are looking at the possibility of making the grasshopper 4wd its doable but not in the simplist fashion. 

Have a search for Grahoo Hornet on the webs. He basically bodged a 4wd Hornet (which is near as dammit the same as a grasshopper). 

He used a DF-03 chassis though and used that to fit a Hornet into. 

 

Reading about it will make it a lot clearer. 

 

The narrow wheels probably could be pinned to make them drive wheels but the problem with the tub chassis is trying to fit in a diff and uprights.

Here’s the only current Tamiya in my fleet.

had several in the past, sold them and regretted it, funny thing is, there ok but not something you can bash...

got a new replacement front part of the shell, hacked out the headlamps and fitted some cheapy light buckets. (Should have been molded that way to begin with).

 

done loads to the chassis which was a new build but not used, stripped it and did the mods, shell I ordered from Tamico.

 

Today I managed to get it finished, also strapped a cheapo Nos bottle and fake hose. The bendy aerial is a rear crank seal ring from a 300 tdi Land Rover engine.

It’s called the orv chassis but it’s a brat, monster beetle, Blackfoot, frog and many more but they do it in all different colours inc. a chrome one a while ago. It’s a simple but fun basic 2wd chassis.

Teambluegroove offer a replica shell at a reosonable price. One thing you need to know is the TBG shell isn't exactley the Cosworth shell, it's the WRC shell so the front grills are different.

OK, You don't get the spoiler or wing mirrors with the replica shell so you'll need to find one somehow. As I said, there not easy to buy, I've searched ebay every couple of days for the last 6 months and nothing has come up

Looks awesome mate love the colour ? Only just noticed the the front wheels are deeper than the rear would of thought it would be the other way round ?
