Here is one I finished today:

FF-03 Civic

FF-03 chassis, 13.5t brushless, light buckets installed for looks, but no lighting kit to save weight.

And topless:

Not all that different considering they are separated by the best part of 20 years...

Great couple of Hondas there chap. Love the older one.

It could be, but since the suspension settles a little when a battery is on board, the front wheels would hit the arches when turning sharply. I think it is pretty much optimal as-is. Thanks for the suggestion though.

One of Tamiya's simplest offerings, the Rising Fighter:

Gonzo

This one has a rubber-sealed bearing set fitted, as well as a steel pinion, 27t rebuildable motor, Ansmann oil shocks rebuilt with Tamiya seals and oil, and alloy wheel nuts. It is otherwise stock, and thus far has proven to be indestructible even with absolute novices at the controls.

What were the designers thinking when they got to the rear end......:@.@:

XVP, do you run NiMH or 2s lipo?

Probably something like "Okay, we have chopped the wing off this Super Hornet shell, and now it doesn't look right. What have we got in the parts bin to replace it with? Hmm. That Mad Fighter wing looks promising. It won't just bolt on, but if we jack it up really high in the air with an adpter plate.. "

I run NiMH in my cars as I don't have anywhere safe to store LiPos at home.

Here is one I finished yesterday:

Candy green Grasshopper

I was in two minds as to whether to paint the cockpit bars black or not. In the end I decided to follow Tamiyaclub member Sunnyjai's example and leave them green. I can always paint them at a later date if I change my mind.
