What did you do to your model today?

Finished building the shocks on the ET410 properly with the alloy caps - even with no electrics fitted, the setup feels very plush and well dampened can see why these land so well!

Found a video with Ryan Lutz at the wheel of his on a 1/8 track on the box stock setup. Looks a right giggle to run!

Diff oil in the XMaxx + hub clean.

I set the rear lights so the wheely bar and bumper could just swing out of the way for access to the diffs.

Jumps with my daughter i cleared the camera just the back bumper almost skimmed it. Then my daughter lined up and got the front wheel to sail over luckily missing. We had a blast.

Found some nice sandstone slopes to climb with the crawler until until a full bore attempt flung it into a crack and converted it to three wheel drive. New CVD required. Steering tie rod is an interesting shape too.

Had a big air bashing session here:

The Tekno ET48 took it all in its stride, which given my minimal skills is impressive! No breakages apart from the shell, which seems to work fine despite not being attached at the rear.

And then I forgot to route the rx wire through the shell and it wrapped itself round the rear driveshaft, oops

Dropped yet another small part on garage floor and lost it so I swept the whole area around bench and used a magnet to recover all the various bits down there.  Then I swept some more and gave the concrete two coats of exterior white paint.  Hopefully that will : stop it dusting up all the time, make it obvious when I need to clean up and help me fine dropped things (just not white ones).

The increase in reflected light made quite a difference too, so I set about painting other bits and pieces white...and therefore got no RC work done!
