What did you do to your model today?

started to fix my cc-01, last time I ran it I stripped the little tooth out of the diff gear, I did not want to order a 4 euro part and then pay 13 euro on shipping cost, I found some tt-01 new diff gears that uses flat spots on the outdrive shaft instead of the little tooth,  so I grind 2 flat spots on the axle shaft of the cc-01 and make it fit.

I put yeah racing shock towers and tamiya alloy shocks on my wr-02, the gmade shocks I had on them where a little to short, with these shock I get more ride height 1.3mm more, so now the car don't get stuck so easy.

Gave the DBXL a run, motor just nudged 60C, but that was after a good ten minutes of speed passes.

Then the pinion fell off. All fixed and ready for tomorrow.

Any pic of the DBXL?

I've hidden the battery box because it's an embarrassment. 😔

😂

I've come up with a new plan for the electrical layout, will show it once it's done.

took the Enduro for a run over the common first thing this morning, like the way it drives with the brass knuckles I recently installed, climbs really well.

Today I fitted an aluminium drive shaft to the Outback Mini (still waiting on the second one to arrive), and the Savvy took an absolute beating :D

Pretty sure these are supposed to be straight 🤔

Video to follow, still waiting for my friend to send me some clips.

That took some doing! But it'll buff right out.

Upped the LVC on the ZTW Beast from factory 3.4 to its maximum of 3.6 and finally got it to cut power.

That was on 12S (six 2S packs), next I'll try 10S to be sure all is well.

Any idea whether the Alza Flux TVP's will require anything else to be changed? It was originally an X 4.6

Talk to Dejan, he's a member and owns Alza, he'll guide ya. 👍

I took the LC12T1 out for its first proper run. The 5900kv £11 banggood special motor worked a treat, Gearing was 18-60 and it got warm however nothing to worry about. The tires were extremely grippy and almost too much for grass however for £8 a pair I can't moan what so ever. Tbone bumper is a must as I did have a small love tap with a curb which left a small (ish) mark, I've had one on order since March however he hasn't had anymore stock since then and isn't sure when the next batch will arrive. 2s is perfect for me and I'm happy with how the truggy runs.

Overall a good first run.

So what benefit is 8 channels? 1 for steering, 1 for throttle, 1 for winch, 1 for lights...... Surely you only need 4? Or have I missed something?

On my TRX-4 I use 7 channels:

1- steering

2- throttle

3- winch

4- front locking diff

5- rear locking diff

6- 2 speed transmission

7- lights

8- not implemented but potentially wing or rotor deployment...........🤣

Me and the lads had a damn good bashing session outside the house!

No1 son barrel rolled his down a ditch, his shell is busted, he says he's having my new one

No2 son crashed and knocked the dog one out, quickly repaired

I just stayed out their way and avoided them lol

I've then velcro'd the ESCs back down on mine and No2 sons.
