Done a few more sections for the mini crawlers. The cement is still drying, might get chance to try it later on before dark. -

Jakes2514 started following RC Racing club near Salisbury that race on weekends?
-
Hi there, We are finally settling down after 20+ years being posted about every two years. I was wondering if anyone knows of 1:10 Buggy or Touring RC clubs near Salisbury that race on weekends. I used to race at the SHRCCC in Farnborough and before that in Melksham but from our new location those are over an hour away and racing during the week which will be tight to fit in with my job especially starting racing at around 6pm. Looking at the BRCA site the closest I can find is Chippenham (which has both classes I am interested in) which will be an hour and 10 away. If I wanted to go back to touring cars only Melksham will be 50mins away which would be good for winter series however both clubs do meets during the week which aren't ideal. Any suggestions? Thanks Jakes

@steephill, that Ir40 looks better now in my opinion mate. Mines in the post hopefully today or tomorrow, just in time for the rain to start again. course is looking good now too mate, you have been spoilt with the tarantula, that thing is like a barnacle!! It did well though considering. ooh, just remembered, my lad found out those bits that come with the gearbox now.

Hi @EddieL, welcome to the forum, there's some good bashing near Sutton bank visitor centre, but best to go when it's closed, some cyclists don't like you being there. There's fun to be had at the top of Rosedale chimney bank, bashing and crawling, and several other nice little spots all over the moors -
Painting a polycarbonate shell using a brush
steephill replied to BlackSeaRC's topic in Bodyshells & Painting
You can spray the paint into a container or plastic cup and then brush on. I know it's not ideal but it's worked for smaller areas when needed. -
Hobbywing 1060 esc for both id say and try to pick up another torque tuned

The Bronco on my crawler course. Nearly made it up, really clumsy attempt at saving it. Not my best driving... The body is holding up to the regular beatings it gets. Definitely got the offroader look.

Replaced the old 15kg Servo on my Son's FTX Hi-Rock with an Amazon Special DS3235sg '35kg' Servo... Not the same as my Savox I have in my Wraith but for him to learn it will be fine ;) HiRockServo.MOV

Not actually finished but very close, having first issue, just cant work out where lights plug into esc, but have asked on FB group, still waiting on injora order for wheels/tyres and shocks plus ebay for a bigger battery box as stock one is a really tight fit getting a lipo and wires in, this will also give option to run a pair of 600mah in parallel not that i need to -
Sounds like something isn't lining up. You might need to use some washers as spacers so that the bolts can be tightened, but the binding doesn't occur.

I have only ever brush painted one shell, a Kyosho Sierra cosworth (wish i still had that) with black paint in jar and it turned out well as you still painted on inside, not so sure you will get poly paint in jars -

Hi Nick (and all) Realise this is a very old thread! I recently moved to Easingwold and have just been (re)bitten by the RC bug and looking for folks to meet up with and places to bash in the area. Know the park very well but will definitely check out the White Horse too - thanks for the tip! Cheers! -

So I got some more stickers on today. I’ve done everything as per the instructions but substituted silver for purple. The bonnet is sprayed black as a background for the carbon stickers. But it doesn’t tell you to blackout anywhere else the carbon stickers are. If I were to do it again I think I’d do that, as well as black out the headlights. the windshield visor was matched to the ps63 so I sprayed it with ps5. Will wait to see how that holds up! But it does a good job of hiding my mistakes and gives me a buffer for when I clean the windows.
