$150 is the rumoured price and out mid November, I'm in the states during November so might see if it's worth picking one up.

I want this to be a proper scaled down TRX4 however the rumoured $150 price tag is making me think this just gonna be a scale looking toy 😕

Seems too good to be true? Itll be £179ish here I guess.

I was genuinely looking at an SCX24 or the FMS one that Tomley reviewed, but hmm

Clear windows on all the bodies! Is a 180 motor the normal size for something like this, seems a bit small?

It does look nice but i find this size crawler to be rather limited, they get hung up on small stones and stuff real easy hence my 1/16th is up for sale

I'd argue that they aren't really outdoor crawlers, i personally would want it for indoors. Easy to set  up a quick course with household stuff. I'm a "nice weather trail-driver", don't like going out in the rain, perfect for a quick fix in winter instead of freezing my jewels off outside.

I know the current exchange rate is poor however £30 more than the dollar price isn't great!

    *cough* drag slash *cough*

I actually think it's a surprisingly decent priced rig by Traxxas, for once.

Looks like a positive development.  1:18 is a better scale than 1:24 in my opinion as the SCX24 and Mini-Z are just a little bit too small and 1:18 is a good compromise.  I suppose it will compete against the FMS range of products and from what I see, the specification looks good, the scale realism looks great and the price is not too bad.  Nowadays, most products of US origin are more expensive in Pounds than Dollars unfortunately.  For Traxxas, I'm sure it will be a great product to bring new customers to the brand.
