  4. Woo hoo pics are working!!! as i say, this first pic is the stock set up and you can see the U.J’s are exposed, So whilst I didn’t really have anything to do (my new servo arrived but faulty) so i thought about reversing the lower links to this, Now you can see the U.J’s have much more protection, i will hopefully test when my replacement servo arrives. It is a little dusty in the second pic as i decided to trim the wheels arches back as the shell had to be stretched to fit, now it’s straight on and off. Whilst all the cutting and sanding bits were out, i decided to have a play with the “shiny” front grill and came up with this, As you can see, its almost complete now (to a level im happy with anyway) also removed the roll bar and spot lamps just to see what it looks like the roll bar has a brilliant way of getting the wiring from the bulbs to the connector, might have a go at some spot lamps at some point on the 3rd channel. although i would quite fancy a nice set of alloy wheels but keep the stock tyres.

  6. Well if thats your thing, he has a thread, As for shock upgrades, have a search based on the sizes you need, off hand i would guess at 1/8th shocks, like buggies or truggies etc. otherwise do the same as your hero did with his????

  7. They do look a lot of fun and like others say look to be more capable than a normal 1/10 rally chassis which dont have much ground clearance. Saying that, I also love the 4s Mojave and they are basically the same price. Feels like better VFM going down the Mojave route.

  9. I have the original blackout which was when they first came out maybe they were made differently, that being said when i broke them i bought replacements direct from Himoto and maybe they are different, i also got all my gears from there too and so far they have stood up very well. I always thought my gears were machined parts, who knows. 1 thing is for sure its nice to see someone doing mods to 1

  16. I prefer tomley or hardcore RC, those guys are a little more down to earth but kev does have the occasional good video if you want destruction If Kev's done the same he should have a fix but no technobabble to help you fix it 🤣

  17. In the boxes of parts I bought there was one with a crack on the outer, maybe it was hit with a hammer who knows. Pretty sure the ones on this are that 'compressed powdered steel' ***** which the transmission gears are also made out of. I noticed the sleeves available for Xmaxx's and other trucks so figured maybe there is a need. On the plus side, at least the pins can't come out sideways and the rubber gaitors now won't slide off 😁
