Pipe Insulation!

Might have nothing to do with RC at first.

But if cut in proper slices it is perfect as tire inserts.

And the best is, that it is made of closed cell foam.

It will repel any water and not soak up.

 

My guess is that it is somewhat medium stiffness.

But clearly stiffer than the original foam inserts.

Hopefully no more ballooning.

I will report after the first spin.

they are widly used within aerospace  but personlly i'm not a fan as they don't look that tidy.

A spare rear diff to lock for better drifting.  Was going to use glue  but  i have used blu tack in the past on 1/10th cars and that worked.  so will give in a go on this

Had to get theses for a few reasons.  If my son goes in the back garden after dark he believes something is trying to get him.  But as we have very high fences i tell him the only things in the garden would be rats mice and  the odd hedgehog.   Also got them to spot any wildlife going past.  Im not out in the sticks but  monduke deer have set up home very close to my street.  Also a big cat passes by now and again.  I really wanted to leave out a chicken carcass  but the foxes would be all over it.  Also they might keep turning up.

Those look like they are going to be awesome fun, he probably wont be going to bed with all the critters that are out at night, a couple of times i have heard noises like some one climbing the fence and its usually a fox.

 

Last bits for the year, cant wait to see how strong that servo is.
