Popular Post Lone-wolf Posted November 12, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted November 12, 2021 Dont we just love it when a plan comes together, a little while back i bought some 114mm 1.9 tyres from Ali for the Hobao DC1 ....they did not fit the rims i was planning to use, then this week i got the new Alloy wheels that were going on the Carisma F-150 but i thought they just did not look right, so a sety of tyres and set of new wheels that looked like i would not use, so just tried the 114mm tyres on new rims and they work well so gonna stick them on the Hobao DC1 7 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was obviously gutted about it so was super happy when I opened the mailbox to see it. Had taken so long I had assumed lost forever. But no! So @Bert_w164 very kindly put together a little package for me, after I had mentioned my disappointment with the initial speed runs on the VSe, he offered to lend me a Castle 1515 2200kv motor and also a special centre diff he knocked up with a losi spur fitted to a hoboa diff case and gubbins as it has less teeth to help get some more top end speed! There was also a cheeky little extra something for me in the package. Also got a PTG-2 and Lancia body (ordered June I think) although annoyingly it seems one shock has emptied out. Not looked properly yet to see if the cap is broken or just came undone on route.
